Would have been nicer if you push the whole thing down and extend some more sky in order to position the train and the bottom of the rice fields at 1/3 points from top at bottom - rule of thirds. ;b . As it is the dark expanse at bottom is a bit too big imho.

On the other hand the widescreen texted version looks quite a squeeze; but the widescreen textless is pretty nice. ^^

Great job with this and the other recent walls, you do good work combining and modifying the scans while preserving Shinkai's wonderful style of beautiful landscapes.

The background is interesting, but it's very empty below the field, and it lacks colors, because these are mostly blue, and its hues. The train is one car too. Anyway, nice wallpaper.

Good job Slaka! I've seen this in SZ too. The text is a bit improved, but there's still some grey around it. You might not see it, on my old monitor it's impossible to notice that too. I like the textless version anyway, so I must say it's great. The idea is really nice and the wall is nicely done. Thanks for the wide version too. *bows* +fav

Fabulous style, colours and lighting. Nevertheless, it's all Shinkai-sensei'work: you haven't worked on it (I know it would be difficult, so I don't reproach you too much with that. BUT I don't like at all the fact you simply superimposed the scans. The result for the shy is unacceptable : islands and clouds merged without any reason - and uncompatible perspectives - and let's not talk about the white line of the tower...

In short: Everything above the railway and its nearby bushes is wrong, especially in the 1680x1050 resolution images.

Last but not least, the plane does not fit very well.

hum... i like the concept.. But i think the extraction with the text.. lacks quality.. Anyhow.. nice wallie. Very interesting settings, and aslo the color Blue here is very bright, and vivid. Nice job! ^^

Took a little closer inspection... great wall - however:

The text - It's BLURRED! DAMNIT, this is so important in your wall, for Christ's sakes! At least vector it! It'll become so much better. (Correct me if I'm wrong and if you did vector the text - just fix it up if you did). And at least take the time to centre it if you are, it's slightly shifted to the right.

Other than that, it's a darn good wall. Oh, and your signature is a bit messed up on the bottom right - I think you'll see what I mean.

Work these details out and I hope you will put out a new version soon. Until then, I'll hold my favourite for this!

I like this creative yet simple looks like something the companies would have made for their web site. Only it has a bit of confusion if one has not seen the show the faint line for tower may not be understood and the plane have such large contrast from the simple train and farm seting. Though I gess you didn't make this for ones who have not seen the show.

Bluetiful..... Well, the wall is more likely to use blue color and the light effect makes it blends perfectly with the other parts of the wall. But all I can tell is this wall looks very amazing.
