OH so cute!! The BG is really cool! I think the characters might be too cute to have texture on them? But the only thing that kinda bugs me is how some of the lines look really... scratchy (and too light)... like the artist's pen wasn't working. But still, awesome job on the cleaning and redrawing and the cute idea!!

I like the scan, but I am not too impressed with the bg, especially the musical note,......... hideous and unnecessary, doesn't fit the wall, (considering your scan)it could have been much better if there were some sort of wide open spaces or jungle, country scene for that matter! that wud give the impression as they are on a joy ride, or how about [strike]ride to a jungle??[/strike]

This scan is pretty great to begin with, what with the ensemble and the angle to it. Your choice of background really fits well and holds the whole piece together. The treble clef on the right is backwards, which bugs me a bit, but for a gate effect they do have to be mirrored, don't they...?

Ouran is a bit like a musical so I like the music score in the background. The use of bold simple colours makes for a nice clean cut image, which is refreshing.

I like the grainy/sandy filter you have going over the entire wallpaper. Normally I don't like that kind of thing, but it really works nicely. The clean-up work is very impressive. It's so easy to find scans that aren't as difficult to work with these days--although Host Club is an exception--that it is admirable when people patiently edit out such large amounts of text. The thing that draws me the most to this wallpaper, however, is the "fence" being made up of music bars and notes--very creative.

It kind of reminds of those old Disney educational shorts where Donal goes to Musicland or something. ... Yeah, that's silly.

Anyways, the wallpaper certainly fits the whimsical nature of Ouran! I really like it!

Honey-senpai's really stands out to me in this wallpaper. He just glows because his eyes are so cute! This wallpaper has a nice comedic aspect which fits Ouran perfectly.

wow! it is very disturbing --" you cant really tell that from the thumbnail. few comments: the face looks amazing, like the blurring that you used combined with the sharper shadow is perfect. the lines def. could be smoother though, although the messiness could add to the creepiness if done properly. i think the blood from the the eye cup, teacup and bowl with honey-senpai's bunny (LOL so sad) is smudged too much, and the bowl kinda needs an outline. but wow the idea and execution is really cool

Cute is all I can say when I see this wall. I love the music piece but I kinda dislike the flower petals. They're better off, IMHO. It'll be great if the wall is brighter.

That is such a cute wall! I like the gate and you're right, it does fit with the theme of Ouran and the carriage and fairy tales. I can't see the original scan anymore but I think the rose petals flying through the air is the perfect touch to the whole image.

They are always charming and lovely boys. Their funny faces are harmonized with interesting arts in the background.
