This looks great!You have done a nice job on coloring,and the scene looks like need a lot of works..but just looks ok to,I mean nothing interesting there besides Yuki...=_=.The text is good though.

wow dude, wonderful job at painting the background! it looks very clear and geometric which some painted walls lack. GJ! really! EXCEPT i dont think the solitude theme works well with it. maybe make the feeling darker, with an orngey sunset feeling perhaps, it just seems to bright to be named solitude lol

It looks a bit too flat colourwise (especially the yellows) and I am not totally sure about the texture, but nice wallpaper overall, and props for the self-made background. :)

You did a great job with the background. It's a place I would see myself hanging out at. ^_^ But the wallpaper feels empty with just Yuki there.

I think the floor where her feet is resting should be stone all the way across. If you follow the bottom step to the left there's a weird bit where the floor, handrail, and steps intersect and it looks a bit odd. It's like the wood parts line the steps but suddenly become part of the floor as the hall goes to the left. If you kept the hallway floor all stone it'd look a little less confusing. Other than that, nice background construction!

I think you should have gone with more dramatic lightning, the walls/stairs look totally flat now while in reality they aren't. Also, I noticed quite a few gaps between different surfaces (like between the wood and walls) - while they're small, you might still want to fix them. The perspective also feels kinda off in places (like the unevenly sized stair step tops/weird proportions between their shadows and highlights), but it's no biggie, it's just me being picky. It has the potential to be great wall were you able to fix the flat colouring issue D:

Only thing that I Dont like, is that the geometry seems to be messed up in the bottom right corner, if you are trying to show the staircase hanging over, it just dosent look quite right. GJ tho XD!

Awesome work as always with the textures. You even got the perspective of everything right (one thing I always completely fail to get right >_<), which is a hard thing to do correctly. But the one thing that you're missing is the dynamic shadowing and lighting. If you added in some shadowing in the appropriate places, then the stairs and the bg would become much more distinctive and vibrant.

*Ahem* Enough of that rant. Otherwise nice work ^^ It's awesome to see another Yuki wall.

she fits in so nicely and this is a very nice self-constructed background! =3 i think we first talked to each other because of a perspectives thing with an fma wall of yours... anyway, reminiscing aside, because it's such a nice bg, it's a bit of a shame that you have slight problems with parallel lines. or rather, with some lines not being perfectly straight and parallel when they should be. this is mostly with the "horizontal" lines. oh yeah, and there's this part where a sliver of the yellow of the wall can be seen beneath the brown wood footing thing, on the lowest floor visible. there, the straight line with the stairs wall is also not completely vertical. am i being unnecessarily picky? definitely. xD but the added textures are nice and overall, you've done a great job. :P

Nice depth with this one. The idea is great to. I'm not to fond of the blurriness of the wall though. I generally like the more sharp walls. I have to say though you did a great job of blending in your title, most walls with text just seem to have them sticking any old place.

WOW!! i had a look at the scan and man... you did do a lot of work to it!! I mean did you do the stairs off the top of your head or did you have some reference materials? Anyway on with the comments. I really love the stairs!!! with the applied textures it makes it look very "painted like". I also liked how you used the light source on the window and applied it to the character. It looks realistic -> that is it doesn't look like it was put on extra, like it looks like it was already like that in the scan but in actual fact you did. Sorry if that sounded confusing. I think how you put the character really suits her although i don't know what anime she was from. It seems like she feels very punitive and feels vulnerable. HAving her sitting down really gives the impression that she doesn't know where to go -> hence the stairs. Well that was my interpretation of what that purpose of your wallpaper was. I hope it was along the track of what you were intending although i might be over analysing it hehehe. Overall a great wall! Worth a fav from me!!

nice simple, clear, uncluttered, good texture, however my eyes focus on the staircase wall where it joins from coming down the stairs to leading further down the stairs instead of where im going to assume the girl sitting on the staircase is suppose to b the focus of the image.

i have to say, she looks very lonely and lost in the paper~ but that is the attractive point~ i like the floor... well...would it be better if there are some moving students around her ?
