Way to go, you obviously put a lot of work into this and it shows.
First off the concept is great. 2nd, the outfits totally fit with each of them. 3rd, the colors and shadowing look to be in all the right places.

I must give you props on all accounts because the work that i can see from this (before I read your statement) looks to be bruital.

However, you came out with a sunsational piece of work.

Oh, I made one like this. But I love yours. The vector is awesome! And as you said, when you know the original scan, the lighting differences are quite obvious. I like the fireworks reflected in their eyes. Nice job!

LOLS u finally got this one up! I remember seeing this in the forums lookin for a way to do the BG fireworks lols Id say it came out well. In my opinion, I would have ut more fireworks, but then again simple is best. Now I want more ECCHI FROM U! lols

The background is very nice, the fireworks in the dark are looking really nice. The characters are looking good in their kimonos, they fit to the background well. Nice wallpaper.

Very nice. The colors are rich and nice work on catching light from fireworks behind them. It does have a more mini poster feel than a wallpaper but still enjoyable to look at.

yay! you finally made it! it's done and out of that pesky folder. lol. and yay and yay and yay again! it's beautiful. the lighting is perfect, and I love how you made the fireworks look in their eyes. one thing I do feel the need to point out is that somehow, some of their outlines are jaggy. IONO if you re-sized it or something, or my monitor sucks, or what, but please fix it! it would be super awesome then!

I thought i'd check more walls after my long absence from Animepaper and i saw this wall. I have to say the work you've done is quite amazing! The lighting is very cool and there are reflections in their eyes! What's Cagalli holding: a fan or cotton candy? Anyway, it is a fav for me. keep your walls coming! ^_^

As for some really nasty comments I could say that I would have love to see some blue and red :D

The scan covers up most of the wallie so I can't say much about the background. The lighting effects are so good that it made them look like that they're really in a festival. Love the fireworks too.

I would say you need to increse the backgrounds light a bit better

This is a very cute wallpaper. I really like the kimonos and the hanabi in the background. In particular, Lacus looks very pretty. I used to be a huge fan of Seed and Destiny but not so much anymore. It's probably an age thing but the characters just don't really appeal to me anymore. I digress though. Really great wallpaper. I love these New Year pics.
