I love the sort of languid sexiness of this wall, the XXXholic style is so distinctive this one jumped at me from the front page. Black and white, graininess, it just works. It's the sort of imagery I always attach to Shiina Ringo, so it's a really good wall. Are you a fan of her as well as Tokyo Jihen? :P

I see nothing to complain about, so I'm just going to quietly steal this wallpaper and add it to my favorites.

Ah Yuuko! :3 Yuuko is awsome. The idea of yers with the curtains is really cool. It gives the wallpaper a nice effect. The song quotes are nice as well. But the overall quality of the scan isn't very good. It could be touched up a bit unless you were going for it to be like that. All in all nice job ^_____^

The very subtle use of color is amazing, the thumbnail didn't give it justice. I really like how you took the patterning of black and white to such gorgeous levels, and reminding us that she's a sexy, but very dangerous, woman. I was expecting the black mokona, though- but white is just as cute.

There are many reasons that I enjoy this wallpaper. Firstly, I personally prefer subtle colours or limited colour schemes that don't scream in your face. The black and white works particularily well with the dark xXxHolic themes. But the hint of soft washes of colour gives it some life, and the red from Mokona gives a nice contrast.

The overall composition is very interesting as well, although I don't know if it's from the original image or it was cropped to fit snuggly into the wallpaper dimensions. It's unique and allows the eyes to travel starting from the face of Yuuko and Mokona and then around her body. I especially like images that doesn't have the focus on the center, makes it more interesting.

Lastly, I like the effect of the added curtains. It matches the sexy and mysterious feel of the overall wallpaper. That, and I like to keep my icons all on my left hand side, so the white curtain there acts as a nice backdrop and doesn't make it too messy for the eye. Great job overall.

The curtains are a nice addition... they make it seem like Yuuko is looking through them. The text is also done tastefully; I don't feel it interferes at all.

While I really like this WP, The content of the text is rather annoying I think. It's not very coherent. Someone else posted they liked the font for hte WP but also said they didnt like the content either, I agree with them entirely. If the content wa sjust changed I personally think it'd be a huge improvment.

Another good black/white XXXHolic WP. For some reason, that style fits this series very well.

That Yuko looks a bit weird, IMO. Some parts look too dark (like if she was dirty or something), and her eyes and mouth can't be clearly appreciated. I guess those details were out of your control, so it's OK.

I like the stark contrast between the majority of the image and the subtle coloring of Mokona. Creates an artistic, and yes as has been stated slightly "whorey" feel/look.

I know nothing of the subject matter, but this wall really caught my eye because it has a simple color scheme, and has a lot of content without being busy. The scan that you picked sort of melds with the whole sensibility of Frank Sinatra and now when I look at it, I imagine it playing in the background. The curtains are a very nice touch. There is this trend in art that when the viewer feels like a voyeur, they get a little more thrill out of viewing the piece. It started with depictions of Aphrodite being caught bathing, and stories about how men were sent to Hades for peeping in on the event. That’s how the image of the naked goddess was popularized, and I am not comparing this to the Venus de Milo or anything, I am just saying that the idea of that you are sort of peeping in is sort of invoked here, and the curtains help to create a sense of setting that reinforces that idea.

What I mean to say is that I like it. +fav.

The lady is a tramp...Well...wow....u guys sure are nuts >xP~ u guys sure do pride urselves for adding meaning to your walls.....something....ive turned my back to....for a long time lol >_< technical aspects of the wall are flawless...the fact that the scan doesnt look like a vectored image makes it special. the subtle highlights, the way the circle goes through the liquid philosophers stone. I love this wallpaper and the Tokyo Jihen reference. I could so see Shiina wearing something like this, very sultry, in a very tasteful way. Especially with the curtains kind of hiding her and making you want to see more. Great job!

ooo great wallpaper! Maybe missing this series is a major loss...I'll pick it up as soon as possible. Many elements in the center area but a nice opening in the left for icons...Making this suitable for desktop.

It looks like an almost entirely black and while wall but I then noticed the colours on the butterflies. They look really cool. I like the title of the wall, the song by Frank Sinatra is one of my favourites and so is this wall.
