Wow amazing piece of work here! I really like the ribbons tieing to what rena used to hide the bodies in the 2nd last episode of that series. Very well thought out as well. All in all a great peice, love the cloudy background BTW gives it that perfect mood. +Fav!

Could someone ask for a more divine wallpaper? Seriously. I was trying to pester some people to wall Higurashi because frankly there aren't enough Higurashi walls out there. I'm so very glad to see that you not only walled Higurashi, but it's Rena-chan~<3. LOL, that is a fridge too! The Fridge ftw! I have to agree with the ribbon idea, it's beautiful and expanding on it was a very wonderful idea. The whole atmosphere is gorgeous as well and I love the foggy moonlite background. Overall, everything just comes together so very well. I haven't seen Higurashi in awhile, but this wall makes me want to watch it all over again, and my sound card is broken too. Anyways, I must thank you for two things. 1. For sharing this gorgeous wallpaper with all of us and 2. For my new desktop.

This wall is a favorite for me, hands down. I hope that this gets highlighted.

wow, a real kickass higurashi wall some amazing vecor work, far beyond average nice work on the ribbons fine atmosphere, displays renas cute and psycho side at the same time the moon could be sharper - it contrasts too much with the perfecly crisp chara as for the fridge... i do remember the scene, but still, a fridge?! xD fridges just arent too impressive or mysterious or whatever well nevermind great work, hope theres more to come soon

Looks really good. My one critique about it is that the pillars look kind of plain. Maybe some kind of design on them would have made it a little better perhaps? And stars in the sky? Dunno. Nevertheless, much better than what I could produce. ^_^

I like the scene choice! Always nice when the original scan is linked for comparison too, so thank you for that. I found your writeup on it an interesting read, just seeing what changes were made and whatnot. Based on that and the final outcome, I'd say you did a pretty darn good job. :)

Amazing blending tones and adjustments, I personally like the uncluttered corner in the top right hand corner. It makes it bleed out more like this is the close up to something even bigger. ^_^ Great wall.

I saw this wall before I finished Higurashi. I was like, lol, a fridge? What the heck's it doing there?... but now that I'm done I must bow to Higurashi and to you for creating this lovely wall.

And especially for your vectoring. You're one of those lucky people who love vectoring. I am the opposite (well, no- vectoring hates me ) and this turned out even better than the original scan.

Beautiful fridge XD I don't know if it's intended, but i think that the ribbons around the pillar-y things should be a little more structured instead of being roundish. Other than that, everything else is just simply superb. +fav!

Very original wallpaper. I just absolutely love the bands that Rena has, along with the moon in the background. As someone already said, yes the pillars do look kind of plain. Maybe they would look better if they were not so pointed around their edges. I don't know, though. Nevertheless it still is going to be added to my favorites.

Real nice idea and really cool drawings! Definitely like how lynch-y the whole scene looks. However, I am a fan of the "gore straight-2-Da-kill without emotions" kind of wallpapers, especially when it comes to When Cicadas Cry, this is why, perhaps this is not one of my tops. When it comes to drawing though, this is an EXCELLENT hit!

Wow really like this one. Odd tint of the prospective of her hugging the axe; really plays along with the story line. Very artistic, though the rest of it seems rather abstract, and a little out of context in some ways. Still, 4/5 from me.
