My first time coloring in Photoshop without blurring or smudging... yay!!! I've always loved this art style so I tried it out.

At first, I really didn't intend to make this anime-ish and was meant to be a fashion illustration but I later on developed a different concept for it. I originally planned to name it "Price of Success" but I guess that's too dramatic and serious. If the setting was just a bit "winter-ly or cold", I'd definitely name her Ice Queen.. But anyway, I found a nice phrase at thesaurus.com synonymous to lonely -- By Oneself , so here it is. The emptiness is so so literally portrayed.

This is great. I don't really like the style of the character, i mean the character is not "pretty", but it is technically well executed and the idea, the feeling you're trying to convey passes through. Good art.

I wonder how did you make it... it looks totally cool ^-^ I don't like the style itself, but I must admit you did a great job with coloring. Hehe...the Devil wears pink socks :P All in all, you have reasons to be satisfied! ^-^

Wow I adore your drawing!

Not sure what kind of mood you're trying to portray, but if I can give you some suggestions ..

I would colour the character lighter and in more saturated colours, and the room in darker less saturated colours. This would bring focus to your character much much more.

I would try a sunset sky with bring sunlight coming in, or something similar, to boost the 'dramatic' mood.

Lastly, I would suggest some sort of story to make the picture more lively. You know, something to add curiousity of your audience - what's going on? what's the character's like? what's the story of the wine glass? etc.

Some points to consider for your next work :)

I like a lot original art wallpapers, and this one is really good, you can feel the lonesome that the character projects. I also like the colors that you used in it, and the dawn outside the room is very well done.

Haha, I love her socks xDD I wish you could've done the colouring as sketchy as the outlines >__< But it's a great wallpaper nonetheless! :3

I have a friend who does similiar art. Hehe, the feet you drew are quite cute. Nice colouring though. A suggestion. Vector it. Try it, you might be surprised ;)

ohh god!!!!!!... such a nice work for a first drawed wallpaper!!!... excelent original art!!!.. you were really creative on this one!!!... I love more the brown version of it... anyway the colors are soo well accomplished... i just love it!!! +FAV OF COURSE... kisses.. hope to see more of this from you ^_^
