I like this wall for several reasons: 1: I really like how u made Asuka disolve into little brush swirls and sutff, and adding quotes from the anime :) nicely done, good work on that 2: I definitly luv the texturing and the brush work. I really like the concept of the piece and even the brush strokes, but it seems to me (might be intentional) that the vector/scan of Asuka herself needs some cleaning. It might not be a scan but it looks like non-cleaned scan. If that were cleaned better or vectorized it would be better than it is now. That is only thing that keeps this off my desktop for the concept is genius. Great job anyway.

WOW. I don't like Evangelion and this is not something I'd use as a wallpaper, but it's a fantastic image nevertheless. I LOVE the colors, the composition, the messiness, hell, I love the whole concept that the image is built around. It's just awesome. Original, disturbing and yet amazing. Congrats!

I rather like this. It's a very creative way to display Asuka's divided personality. I like the quotes that you mixed in (fyi, the quote that is going up her butt, has a number of typos and should read: "My mind is breaking, I can't seem to find myself." Sorry, I'm a copy editor for a living, I can't help it!) Very creative wall, good job!

<3 IT! I love those swirly effects, and I am such a big loser for walls with characters dissolving into something (swirlies, rose petals..etc). I kind of wish the change from girl to swirlies was a bit more gradual (it just seems like some of them are clumped on), but if I think about it, I dont really know what I just said. ooooookay, so anyways. *ehem* yes yes, beautiful colors. I think it would also look nice if asuka was a little less saturated towards the back..as in, her front part is colored, but as it goes toward the swirlies, she starts to lose her colors. it would work great with that whole order and brightness thing, if she has more color towards the front. I'd say fear and disorder is more of a colorless thing. or maybe thats just me.

Perhaps the most over-done series of my time and its still coming on strong. This is probably the most original wallpaper for this series that I've ever seen. While the concept isn't anything ground breaking or original, I love the presentation and detail. You could have done alot worse that what you produced, but lucky for us you hit a home run. ::favorited::

Now this is really creative and different from the usual boring "wannabe-artsy-and-minimalistic" kind of stuff that I've been used to see. Great concept. The only thing I dislike is all that text on the right side. Using so many fonts, styles, sizes and even colours make that group of text too much of a distraction and a bother for the viewer that should concentrate his eyes on Asuka and the dissolving swirls. It'd look way better if you removed all that useless text, logos and whatnot to make the wallpaper perfectly balanced. In case you'll decide to do that and edit your wallpaper I'll be glad to add it to my favourites as well. :)

Agreed with Shinn about the text at the right side, maybe just one or two things look good, the left side seems pretty good, also the swirls look perfect even some people dont like, for me is like the image is making of the swirls or the swirls are making from the image, weird isnt ?.

I dislike the right side for two reasons. One, its completely white. I think it'd look better with a gray shade similar to the left side. Second, the elements you used are characteristic of a "tech" style wall and the left side doesn't fit that description so much. The left side is amazing, especially the implemented typography. Nice choice of texture, as well. Only thing I have to say is that the "Hate" text stands out a bit too much. Perhaps set it to overlay so it doesn't feel tacked on top? Overall I think you should extend the gray and texture to the right side and remove all of the typo and vector elements. The focus is on the left side of the wall anyways so why take away from that? :)

Well, I'm a Rei fan personally, but there's no denying that Asuka's also one of the reigning goddesses of anime bishoujo (actually a rather crowded group).

I'm not really fond of the brush texture on her suit. That being said, the rest of the wall is freakingly awesome. That angle is perfect, really love the quotes/descriptions (using textless version). That bigger "Hate" part was a great touch.

I don't +fav many walls, but this one deserves it. +Fav! Thank you very much for sharing this wall.

Fantastic wallpaper! I'm really digging the direction and style you have taken with this piece! Your interpretation of Asuka's character is very unique, not to mention it is executed very well.

The right side of the wallpaper is fantastic, the simple gradient complimented with textures and brushes really creates a dynamic effect. I also especially like how her hair becomes a branching mess of vector shapes and textures; it really accentuates your theme. I'm also digging the 'grainy' look that the image has and is especially prominent on Asuka's body.

Simply love the brush effects, it gives a nice strong and messy feeling like you mentioned, great colours too. It's settle but some part stands out very nicely. Awesome work!

WOW thought I'm not a EVA fan, I still like this wall very much. OwO I can tell you have put a lot of effort into it. Just look at all the details...ranging from large to fine...down to the meaning of the text. Very nicely done.

I'm not a big fan of NGE either, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate it. This wall really does do a wonderful job of portraying the duality of the second child. both her outward perfection and self-assurance, and the slow unraveling of her psyche.

I completely relate with your feelings about NGE, and I hated Asuka throughout the series, but the movie redeemed her in my eyes a wee bit (hey, she kicked massive @$$ in the movie!)

I assume that Asuka herself is a vector, no? When I first looked at this wall I thought that the scan wasn't cleaned, but looking again it appears to be an intentional texture.

I would have greatly preferred a Rei wall, as far as NGE characters are concerned, but Asuka fits you "chaos in order" idea dead on.

I love all the swirly bits, very well executed!

This is a really beautiful image you have created here. I love how you have Asuka blending in with the vector curves. The chaos you have created in the curves is also very nice, it must have taken a long time to get those the way that you wanted. The small quotes also adds a lot to the image and really draw parallels with the character. Great work.

There are some very nice design elements here, it almost looks like she's becoming a fractal image, with levels of increasing complexity the further you scale it down. Not something I am going to put on my personal desktop, but as an art piece I like it very much.

Asuka was a vegetable by the end of the show and I can't think of a better depiction of who she was inside and out than this. I'm glad you made that connection in your comment. I never felt one way or another about Asuka, but after this wall, I feel sorry for such a character. I also liked the small words on the left side. It gives more insight into her struggles and the things that were eating her away.

I hate to admit it but actually this is very good.

Some minor flaws

the text Example: The text near her buns doesn't follow the flow of her buns, CS gave you a pentool + text path for this.

Most likely the curly thingies are brushes ... but the big ones have some odd edges you might want to use the hard eraser and "fix" them....

I think this was f*****g much work... and I love it. But I'm sad that her head is missing

O my God i LOVES this wallpaper it is so asuka it totally describes her being a huge fan of Evangelion(the greatest anime ever made lol) it just brings back memories of asuka last thoughts and fears she had to overcome (right before she was torn apart) in End of EvangelionP(T_T)

At first glance, this wall is evangelion-fan eye-candy... but it's a lot deeper than it appears! Is she disintegrating into a curly-que swirls of disorder, or is it the bits of chaos that is forming her? Something to think about, heh.

The effect is lovely! I can't help but say I like it, since this is something close to my style after all. The message does come through, but I find that Asuka's disintegration to be too elegant. To me Asuka is a well of raw and savage emotions which displays itself at, yes, her back, behind that cheerful facade. I did expect a more savage and a wilder image compared to what I see here.

Also, I find Asuka's back is too large here, and I feel that it takes up too much space and somehow mutes Asuka. Perhaps something smaller, or maybe a touch of Asuka's head would've given the image a stronger personality.

I like the design on the left side it has reason to it and is not just random shapes like most vector wall backgrounds. Not to sure about the butterflies though, what is their purpose exactly? Well anyway nice idea having the left side be about her fears and such but having the right side solid white, it really nails how her character is in the anime itself. I don't know if you haven't noticed but on the right side here hair doesn't reach the side and there is a gap filled with white, its just a small error though.

Seems those pictures show more than a face does, and this picture is one of them. And I like your color, especially Asuka's back, which is in dark color. Oh, I think you got a pretty great idea with her arm ^_^ I like what you've done to it. Hmmm... So her arm starts disappearing and Asuka is trying to run away. You say that pretty well with this picture.
