Hey I like it. I'm glad that you decided to not put in Kagome's tears cause otherwise that background would have just not worked, but the way that she looks now makes it kind of fit in. And I agree with you, the texture does give it sort of like its own personality. Good work on it.

wow! this is a totally different kinda style of wallpaper, i love it! the couple look great, and the moment seems captured very well. and thats a beach back there im guessing. it looks wonderful this is probably the 1st IY wallie im gonna add to my favs hehe +fav

The style is simple and great idea. However, the background does not go with the theme. Using sakura background flying or a big tree might go with the picture. I still don't see birds and sun go with the pix.

That's really pretty. :) Only think I would suggest is maybe you could make the sun...um...less cute? I know that this is supposed to be a happy scene, but I think the sun looks a little too kawaii for a romantic scene like this. Same goes for the text - it looks too cute for the scene. Maybe you could use a more elegant type of font?

I really like everything else about this wallpaper, though. Lots of icon space, not overdone at all, and the vector job is nice and clean. See? Didn't I tell you're good with vectors? XD
