What inspires you? The original inspiration for this wallpaper came when I was browsing Border's blank-journal section looking for new design ideas and noticed an elegant cover that had a stylized floral branch set against a two-colored background. I wanted to make my own version of that image, and decided to incorporate an image of Glasses-Kino, because I needed a very simple image to match the theme and because wallpapers of Glasses-Kino are even rarer than wallpapers of Kino's master. The sky and birds were recycled from my Blooming Prarie wallpaper (in turn recycled of my True Blue Sky and Wings of Hope wallpapers) because what inspired Glasses-Kino to travel was the sight of a bird soaring freely overhead - an idea that he later passes on to Kino and Hermes. Simple, clean, elegant, and a change from my typical textured Kino walls. Additional resolutions available at DA! Desktop Anime.

Excellent wallpaper! The colors match wonderfully adn there is great flow. The simple aspect is done VERY well, and the text matches nicely. The vector work is smooth and detailed, but some of the edges coudl ahve been slightly smoother. To get smoother edges on your vectors, use a higher resolution for your canvas- default is 72pixels per inch, but for vectors, 100- 120 pixels per inch is best. Great job!

hmz....still see those pixel lines....mayB it's those pixels per inch what 5string is talking about. the colors matches well and the wall is simple looking. Icon space <3~! tama....you need to teach me how to blow up your mind and get over 10000000 ideas.

As always with your wall, I really like it. You're really right about it being extremely elegant. Most people think that when something is simple it means it's boring.....that's totally not the case, especially not here. The image you cose of glasses-kino really does go a long way simply because of the fact that it is simple and there's nothing fancy about it yet it adds a lot to the piece. Great job as always :).

It occurred to me, that given the volume of walls Tama has on DA, she might not want to jack up the pixel res on purpose, cause it really bulks the files making them rather large. Circels can be a pain to smooth out on larger walls though. Then again, she actually may not know something about vectors for once and wouldn't admit it cause she likes stompin the crap out of other peoples' vectors so much. :p

This isn't getting enough attention. =/
I love this wallpaper. The design is simple, but has so much impact. Lovely color scheme, too. Everything fits...even the text! Maybe if the branches and the flowers had more detail, it would look nice. But I already love this wallpaper. Absolutely no drastic changes needed here in my opinion. :)

I love the simplicity of it It's nice to see people started to go back to it instead of making very complicated backgrounds ^_^ Nice job!

I don't think that the text work is getting enough attention! That's not a real logo used on any Kino no Tabi media, is it? It works really well! I love the way you've used the first and last letters to frame the subtitle. Re-using the cream from the flowers brings it all together really nicely. :)
