That scan is probably one of my favorites thanks to another wallpaper I saw on minitokyo before. I agree with you that this scan is pretty hard to work on. The dark side and the side with the glows require some creativity to match up well. Now about your wallpaper, I think the position is a problem. The left side seems so empty while the right is all squashed up. Maybe you should put the characters in the center and extend the wave to the whole wallpaper. On the other hand, I really like the fire behind the girl. Looks realistic and match up well with her color wise. I also suggest that you add a mystical feel to the wallpaper since her orange clothes would settle in very well. Nice try, keep it up.

I really like this wall, especialy the flames! But, I think that it is too dark, or it's just my computer.

Wow, the flames look really amazing. Very soft and nice. The stock is a little dark, but that must've been what you were going for. Very nice.

Yeah... it doesn't look as much fire as it does using the smudge tool.... If you're going to make fire, it has to be more random and chaotic; right now it just looks too man-made (especially the odd angle where it the fire meets the character image, though I do like the spire of flame behind the girl). Also, if that's the lake surface to the left, why does it keep going back behind the character to the right? That problem really messes up the perspective and really takes away from the rest of the wallpaper. The embers and butterflies don't look bad, but it makes that plain black BG look very empty. This could be very stylish and cool, but it needs some work...

you did a real good job on this. i like the way you did your background and the colors you used. your shading is alright. however, you could use a little more practice on your people. not saying they are not good. you did a good job with them, but your porportions are a little off.

This wall rocks :) I love it, the flames look really nice and the people fit into this athmosphere of burning flames. The colors are a bit too dark maybe but it's okay and i like it how it is. Really good job :)

Firstly, i'd like to say how i love that you havent tried to overshadow the image, more accentuate it, and you've really used the beautiful colours to their full advantage.

I think this wallpaper has a two main problems; firstly the positioning. Its a hard picture to use, the male has clear direction, yet the female both turns in and away from him. If you try to use this image again, perhaps you should have it three quarters across, instead of to either side or the middle.

Secondly, the fire effect. While beautiful, it doesn't exactly meld with the soft and organic luminescence of the picture. Perhaps next time you should try a more soft approach; either continuing the lake environment or fading out. Something defined but subtle.

Awesome art syle you used with this scan The only this I notice is that their hair blends into the sky a bit too well. Keep up the great work :D

This is a pretty good wallpaper. I really like the flames that you made and those little light effects really gives this wallpaper character. The colours are really great. Their really well balanced. Good job on this wallpaper.

It's very beautiful I love the glow soft very soft. I don't really nowhat it's from but it's very storng it has a big emotion to it and that is what you really need in a wall you want it to reflect what your feeling.I can see that you did that.
