Booong!!!! New wallie from me! ^.^ I always want to wall Kaori's artworks, but have no idea! Now I want to express my idea when I saw this pic into a wallie, and then HERE IS "CHESS ARMY"! Well, to be honest, this is not very hard compared to my previous works (in terms of drawing ^.^), but I enjoyed the most! I drawed everything in this pic! In the beginning, I intent to draw real chess... but it's way to real, and not suitable for anime style... So it turned out like this in the end, symbolic chesses ^.^. I want to put some more special effects but can't think of any now... Anyway, I still up it here and will update later when I have more idea... Surely, any suggest or comment are welcome. This time, I made three versions, you can choose any of them, and please tell me which you like most.

I realy like the idea of the chess! It's sooo cool! In fact I 'd prefered it even more if there weren't the letters on the pawns, but I love it this way too. Furthermore I have to admit that out of the three versions I prefer the one submited. As for extra effects maybe some steam or cracks on the chessboard would look nice... ^^ +fav (and this is my current desktop!) Thanks for sharing!

Oh nice. I don't think I've seen a chess-themed wallpaper at AP before, points to you for originality! And you drew it all as well? Very nice! One problem however.. A chess board has eight rows by eight rows, on this one.. it's nine by eleven! I suppose it would have been hard to make a convincing board that takes up the whole screen, so nice job regardless! Out of the walls you've displayed, the one submitted to AP is the best, in my opinion. Thanks for sharing all of them with us!

Wow Great job its truely stunning <3 The chest board and peices look awsum (isnt there meant to be a white side, the girl) neway the characters fit pretty well but im not sure where you stuck them.

wow the black/white version and the red /white version are really nice but this one is great! it is a nice wallpaper and well the one is the queen and the other one the king great wallpaper great colors and great desing +fav

Chess it always fun; I always get a kick when it's incorporated into artwork. The pose and perspective works quite well for this. Overall, I'm quite fond of it.

regarding which one out of the three i like best? The one you have here.**w** Though all three are plenty awesome. But you could work with getting the shadows to look more realistic? Cuz your shadows don't look like they came from the characters...uhm >(=v=)<
