The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya Golden Skans

I like Haruhi and her world -> very good idea for a wallpaper; there are never enough wallpapers anyway :p THe vectoring of the characters are very good : nothing to say ;-) The background is full of elements and good. Only one thing : the soil under the feet of characters is too yellow ... may be a little bit less aggressive or more grey ? Anyway, good job.

Who can resist Haruhi's gothic lolita outfit :3 A very clean vector of all of the characters, the dock scene completes the grunge feel.

OMG... I'm totally frustrated... I was planning to vector all of it too, after seeing the other wall by lana3007 I thought about abandoning it but seeing that the vector wasn't great as mine I did recover some hope... but now... with yours there is no need to continue... vector is great, the scene is great, the whole thing is great... I don't want too but I need to make it a fav... damn... so frustrated... so frustrated... Official and definitive abandon... (only thing: Haruhi eyes are way too bright)

Damn it aplastictree has got good tastes in music. Muse and Klaxons are my favourite bands at the moment. Shame Klaxons pulled out of a gig I was going to at Wembley Stadium in June.

Aaaanyway, onto the wallpaper. I've been waiting a while for a vectored wallpaper version of this scan. I was gonna do one myself but I settled with just doing a drawing.

hehe looks like a lot of people like this scan. I was also planning on making a wall with it by flipping it right side up and filling in the corners to finish the scene. I don't like the whole yellow grunginess feel to the wall but you did a good job redrawing the background.

I really like it all i can really say for as to why is that it captures a feeling. Not even sure what it is but it's there and i feel it. the colours aren't overly gaudy and i wish they were but the ambiance still works for some reason.

Wow pretty good vector work... You did a great job vectoring a scan that is awesome to start with ^^ Some artefacts of the vectorization are a little bit too obvious in the 1600*1200 version (the eyes of the characters for example), but nevertheless it's still an excellent job.

I really like this scan.. it caught my eye when I saw it in the scans gallery even though I really don't like the anime, but lily did a nice job vectoring it :)

Background looks great as well.. I think it matches really nicely with the characters in the foreground. My only critique would be that the ground perspective looks slightly off.. but I can't quite put my finger on exactly how, so it's not that big of a deal. Anyway, awesome collab, keep up the great work :)

The wallpaper is definitively clean; surprisingly clean. The only negative thing that I can think of, well in my opinion, is that the roof of the building lacks some 3D feeling. It seems to me that although you tried to give it a 3D feeling it would almost seem a 2D room. But leaving that behind, I really like the lighting of the characters, the extra boot of the far right char (it wasn't on the scan after all), and the general feeling this wallpaper gives me.

Great theme,though it does look a little yellowish. Can imagine how Haruhi will start smashing the guitar!

Even though yes this scan has been used a lot, I, personally, have not seen anyone using the entire group, just Haruhi. So it's nice to have the whole gang. I like pretty much everything about this wallpaper. I probably couldn't use it for long stretches of time, as it makes me think of London weather for some inexplicable reason. Nice collab here!

Wow. Ever since I saw this image on someone's signature at another forum, I've been looking for a quality version of it. Thank you so much for your hard work. The vectoring is indeed very sharp and clear. However, they look a bit dull. Haruhi should look more energetic. A bit more tint and twinkle in the eyes would've given the wall more life. Still, great job! I'll be checking out more of your work.

Woo Hoo!~~ /(O_O)/ Wow! I never saw them in these outfits before, they look very interesting, the background overall looks a bit kind of ... gloomy though... But that doesn't change the outcome of the wallpaper (very nice wallpaper) because of the characters, but I'm sure the wallpaper you did have your own perspective and liking to it (so don't mind me) A very nicely done wallpaper Keep it up!

Awesome job on giving it a real rock concert on tour type feel. And while the outfits do feel a bit misplaced with this background. It still is pretty cool to look at... esspecially with the major players of the cast.
