Ouch, the texture and cropping do not work well together at all; the image's size is overwhelming and awkward that parts of the mare cut off, and the texture/font is too much of a grunge for SD characters.

That image would probably work best with a light, airy focus instead of a dark, intensely colored theme.

Hehe, cute, I like orange. They look a little like a cropped image to me though, especially the girl on top. Also, the lighter parts around the legs make them stand out, but there aren't any other areas that have the lighter outlines?
