I always loved this scan for one reason or another. Nice job on this.

Ever since Zuri-chan made a wall of a similar scan (same character, different pose and angle) I've been waiting for someone else to make a wall with this gorgeous scan. What intrigues me the most is the way you slip the bg up. I love how you went with one design on one half of the scan, a different one on the other. Normally, the finished result isn't that good, but you've done a fantastic job with the background. Also, I must commend you on the extraction as well.

If this is a sign of what you can do, I eagerly await more walls from you. This is definately a favorite for me. A job very well done.

This wallpaper is good for a first attempt at walling. My complaint with this wallpaper is that the extraction doesn't look as smooth on some areas, especially on her hair, ears, and tail. You can see some jagged edges. I might not have noticed this on my LCD screen at home though because it's so bright, but since I'm at campus, I can see the jagged edges. But then again as I look at it closer, it might due to the image being resized up from a smaller source. You linked to the original scan and it was much clearer but smaller than the scan used in your wallpaper. So my only guess is that you resized the scan up so that it would fit with the 1600x1200 resolution. Correct me if I'm wrong. It's just that the scan is only average in quality since it could have been clearer, crisper, and smoother.

As for the background, it looks cute. However, it is a bit repetitive and simple. Simple is good (I'm not saying it's bad), but you can achieve simplicity without making it look repetitive. I'm not sure if the stars are made manually by you or from brushes. If they are made by you, great job with that! I like the right side of wall with the rectangles better than the stars though. Overall, this wallpaper is great for your first try. I'm sure you will improve if you keep this up!

Th scan needs work, it seems quite dirty compared to the rest of the wall. I also don't like what you used for font, it doesn't "flow" nicely with the box you made for it.

I agree with pink's idea, but the simplicity in this wallpaper doesn't appeal to me at all, it looks too simple and the background could be better. To me, this wallpaper doesn't look like you put much effort in it, and the extraction could be better as well.

it is a great wall, i have think to sey it be beer widout the litle mark and text but i soy it in the scan so it is hard to delet and it it bad the ear is cut. but it is a rely good wall and i use it now ant a time to samthing better kom and it can take time

I'm not a fan of the color pink, but it does work with the accents of black on the characters clothes. The shapes/design in the background though, don't seem to I guess "mesh", for a lack of a better word, together IMO. But being the first wall, as an overall, a very good wall. Keep it up.
