I think you did a good job on this wall but I think there is just too much going on. However you did do a good job on the cleaning the scans.

Oh, that is so awesome! xD Great work cleaning up the scan and nice work with the background. Kinda looks a bit weird, though, because after measuring carefully with my fingers, it seems a little off center. But eh, it's okay! Death Note wallies are love. x3

I love the feel of the background, however the scan doesn't quite blend into it well. The difference in color is too noticeable. (Blend some color over Light? ^^;) I think creating a subtle shadow for Light under his foot, stretching towards the back might have even improved it to make it seem less detached.

Wow, I love the blood brush you used for the background! And I like the way you used both warm and cold colors on either sides. It looks great up there, but it does seem a little crowded in the middle when I enlarged it to fullsize (a little too much details to look out for >_<). All in all, it's still an awesome piece of work! Great job~ Compliments for working so hard cleaning the scan~ X) Thanx for sharing! ^^

Looking at it it 's like looking to a commercial poster for the Death Note series... It is beautiful and eye-catchy, though it's also dark and a little creepy. I believe it transits the feeling of the series.

Gosh, this is just fantastic! A severe lack of L, but fantastic all the same! ^_~ It could have come out quite awkward looking with the smaller scan on a widescreen wallpaper, but you've blended it in well with subtle background and the choice of colours! Definately a fave XD

This wallpaper has an extremely dark and deep theme and finishes it off with a very well placed set of images. The edges are all very clean and hold well to the background. I also really like the way that partial characters are used for the background design with a splatter style. It really keeps up the overall quality of the wallpaper.

I really enjoy the muted color scheme and just clean it looks over all.

It's really good though the idea of L in the middle might be pretty good too. Because.. Since it was L that Near and Mello patterned themselves into and was their idol in the orphanage where they were nurtured. But I loved how this wall went. Near and Mello, when looked from this perspective really seemed to be adults taking on the big bad guy. Nicely done.

I've have seen a lot of Deathnote wallpapers, but this one tops it. Usually it's just one of the deathgod + one person, but to include all three, that's a plus. + all the blood splatter makes it even better.

This scan is a bit overused, but I really like what you did with it here. The original artwork has remained very clear, even up to the ripples in Raito's shirt. I'm glad you went with Near and Mello instead of L so that there is a balance between the two. The blood splatters in the background are very artful as well and adds to the dark feel of the whole wall. +fav

(n_n)/ i havent read the death note series, but i want to because of the wallpapers i have seem. the detail is extrordinay, and the splots of the green, purple, and yellow are brilliant. I like how the death note text toward the bottom fades out but the man and the werid looking heads don't. (^ 3^) that's a cool effect if you ask me. There seems like there is a little bit to much going on in the middle with the man, the thing behind him, the multiple heads. |(n_n)| The use of colors is done well.it must of taken a lot of time to do this wallpaper because there is a lot of detail, and i can tell that you put a huge amount of effort into making this wallpaper look amazing. i'm always a fan of the look where things looked like they went "splat" onto paper. yes, it was a good idea to keep the original scan. I just love that texture. Plus, I know many people have been talking about how L should be in there, but I think it's just right as it is now. There are already tons of Raito and L walls, having Mello and Near here is nice and fresh.

I like how everyone but Light is in the dark and how he is surrounded by dark colors making him seem to be the only good one. I also like how you can see all the faces of the Death Gods in this wallpaper and the resolution that you made this. This is definitively a favorite now.

This is a really nice one. I really love the "grunge" effect here--creates a very appropriate mood for both the scan and the series in general. It almost seems a little heavy on the left-hand side, though... I don't know if it's because of the way the grunge is patterned, or because the central figure in the paper (Light and the Shinigamis) seems to be slightly left of center. And maybe I'm just seeing things. Besides that, though, it's a wonderful paper. Thank you for sharing it!

Wow...Out of all the death note walls I have seen, this one sure is something special.

Usually the characters are darkened out and not distinguishable from the background. Yours are kept more brightly colored and not over covered with some horrible darkness texture.

The thing I find coolest about this wall is the shinigami in the background. Their gray coloring really looks SO cool.

The idea with melo and near was very cool too. The splattering looks natural, eye catching and well done. Their textures over them are not too intrusive. Just enough and the result is amazing.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm rambling...but this is the first time I have found a Death Note wallpaper that I REALLY liked.

OMG, I am speechless.... this is definitely at LEAST the top 3 wallpapers I've seen here. The grim colors and the directionality of your montage is combined very skillfully together. I don't know if it was intentional, but "Light" is much brighter against the dark backdrop.

I like it! Light was one of my favorite characters, but I tend not to like walls like this since it seems there is too much in the picture. I'm a fan of minimalist but this is one of the heavy loaded walls I like. I think it's the good use of space with Light in the middle and the external object on the sides that makes it appealing to me.

Its been a while since I saw an awesome wallpapers like this of Death Note. The blood brush, the images on the background and the scan! Everything looks great together. Gratz for your wallpapers! a +Fav for sure! ^^

When i saw this wall.... i was going "holy crap"!!! IT totally matches death note, not that i managed to finish the manga.... it was a pain on the mind..... anyway, i dont think im a minimalist.... cause i see the whole big picture and i really think its cool... i never saw the uncleaned scan... so i cant say how well it was cleaned

One of the best death note wallpapers ever! I absolutely LOVE it!. It clearly reflects the theme of death note. And, I love the colors because they really go well together. It is not like all black or black and white only like most death note wallpapers. It is absolutely perfect.

It looks great up there, but it does seem a little crowded in the middle when I enlarged it to fullsize (a little too much details to look out for >_<). Hot! Love the cleaning job + colors and overall design, it looks awesome. I'd be curious to see what textless version looks like~ but yeah this sure is one awesomely slick wall x3 This wallpaper has an extremely dark and deep theme and finishes it off with a very well placed set of images. The edges are all very clean and hold well to the background.
