The instant I saw this wallpaper, it immediately screams to me this. Both concepts are the same even though the executions are done differently.

Your wallpaper is good, but the way the feather is positioned makes it seems like it is floating in air instead of floating on the water. The only part in the feather that actually looks like it is floating on the water is the stem part.

I think it's because the feather looks flat that this happens, and after looking at the screenshot you provided, I can see why it looks flat because it looks that way in the screenshot. Except in the screenshot, it is lying on a hard surface. In yours, it is floating on water, a totally different surface, so it doesn't exactly look as though it is floating on the water.

The feather is done nicely, but it just looks flat. Perhaps, a curling-feel to the feather might fix that to make it have depth instead of having it look rigid and flat.The moon does seem out of place though, since it shouldn't be that close to the water's surface. It could just be me though. Anyway, don't take my criticism too harshly. I think you did a fine job. What I do like is the glowing circles, it adds a whimsical and magical feeling to the feather, which has a lot to do with the series. Good job incorporating clouds to the background. My only critique is in the feather. Good job.

Well, the moon also caught my eye. Maybe if you made the clouds in front of it a little more prominent, it might make the moon seem further away... just my thoughts.

I really like the way you made the reflection in the water though. Nice job with that.

Its beautiful, though simple it still is a very nice design.

Definitely a fan of this one. Not the biggest lover of TSR, but the simplicity of your wall is appealing to me. Too many wallpapers I see these days are so over the top and distracting that I can't concentrate on my work. This is one of those special little gems that shows off my love of anime/manga without giving me a headache. Muy bueno!

I agree that the moon looks out of place. It just strikes me as not fitting with the rest of the composition.

Well done with this wallpaper! I think this wallpaper definitely looked very neat in the thumbnail and still keeps the very clean look when full viewed. I also like the level of simplicity that this wallpaper displays. One thing I might suggest is to maybe make the feather in the center a little clearer and crisp. It looks somewhat blurry here as it is, but it still looks very interesting on the plain background.

....hmmm....the feather doesn't exactly look Tsubasa-like, but is at least recognizable. I also think the moon isn't quite right somehow. Seems not to fit, though I don't know why.

This is such a pretty wall! I love the glowing circles thing around the feather... which I think is what makes this very pretty.

Now that I've read all the comments about the moon, it does look a bit strange, but hey, I wouldn't even notice that if I hadn't read all the other comments. Ha. The feather though, I noticed when I saw the full size... how it doesn't really seem like it's floating on the water, if that is what you were aiming for. But it's not bothering me really... because everything else make up for that *__* well to me at least.

Sorry, dont mean to be repeating what pink-sakura and highknees said (and probably what other people said on the next 3 pages that I dont feel like reading) but the concept of your wall is indeed similar to another one on AP. I dont intend to compare the two because your styles are obviously different, and I hate it when people compare my walls to other people's walls. but I did just want to bring to your attention (well, if it hasnt already) that it looks like another wall I've seen.

erm..I would give you a critique, but I would probably end up just repeating what pink-sakura said. When I saw the wall, it bothered me how stiff the feather is. It needs more curl, more..."floating on liquid"-ness. Right it looks too stiff and I think the design (the vectored part? is that vectored?) makes it look even stiffer.

All in all, you did a great job...I hope I dont sound rude saying this, but I like to be brutally honest and I like people to be brutally honest with me, so Im just going to say it - In my opinion, I really dont think this is an A+ wallpaper. The stiffness of the feather just really ruins the whole atmosphere of this wall. From the thumbnail it looks really great because you cant really tell so I was kind of disappointed when I full viewed it since it looked so great. I think if you changed the feather to make it look more bent and soft, then it would make the wall look a whole lot better. (dont take my comments personally btw)

Resembles another wallpaper which also had water reflections. The softer rendering in this wallpaper gives it more of a serene feeling, even when the background is much more darker.

Okay well what Kalico and the rest said...yes being it looks like its floating I could agree but what I really like about this is that there is realism in the feather not just the plain cartoony look IMO. Nice text and nice choices of colors and effects...kind of remind me of Felesya's :P.

Hmm...I vaguely remember seeing a wallpaper with a similar concept here some time ago but someone else has probably pointed that out already (didn't look through the comments). Nonetheless, I like the idea and the overall simplicity of the wallpaper. It's a bit odd that there are clouds in the background though.

i like the subtlety of the background, especially the way the clouds seem to blend in to the water. the reflection of the feather on water gives seems very real, and contrasts nicely to the surrealistic, misty aura that envelopes the feather. i also like the way the words seem to emanate a similar glow as the feather.

I like the feather strukture you put on the bottom of it..but why didn't you continue the structure further? Also, the clouds are really disgusting..they just dont fit, its looks like you put a photo on the wall.. i know you can better..anyway, nice scene and colors, the fluffy shiny stuff is also very enjoyable

Its Looks really nice at first glance, but when i open it, its looks really odd. BUt then, nice vector BTW. The feather has quite some problem, especially the symbol, it dosent look so alike. the background effect is great, i like it. The background manage to make the whole look really magical. great job! but there a need for improvement on the feather.

I think the wallpaper is lovely, I love the simplicity of it. Some have compared it to one by Silverider, but I prefer your style better. Its softer and more whimsical, in my opinion anyway. I never thought of Sakura's feather as to being as dramatic as (Lol, I used as three times) the way you have presented it. The quality of the image is very well done, and the water looks fine, so it's a great wallpaper. :)

Who said that wallpapers with no people are bad? It's nicely done, carefully planed and gives away a calm feeling. The feeling of a feather landing on the peaceful surface of water. Blue colors are chosen with great care. Not too bright, not too dark, complimenting the feather and making it glow. Thanks for sharing such a lovely wallpaper.

really like the feather from that anime so i made a wallpaper with it. That wallpaper means a lot to that anime. It's like one of the main Character/thing in the series. Its a very meaningful thing to the characters so i made a veIs the feather supposed to be floating in air? Perhaps you should write something about thhe process of falling... I agree that the moon looks out of place. It just strikes me as not fitting with the rest of the composition.

I worked on this for over a week because of my kiny I think this is a really beutifal wallpaper you have here I really like the style and feeling of the feather falling. :D Fav da busy schedule and i have free times sometimes but im always tired on those days.. I really like how this wallpaper came out. I think it looks pretty good. The instant I saw this wallpaper, it immediately screams to me this. Both concepts are the same even though the executions are done differently.

Your wallpaper is good, but the way the feather is positioned makes it seems like it is floating in air instead of floating on the water. The only part in the feather that actually looks like it is floating on the water is the stem part.the feather supposed to be floating in air? The way it's placed looks like it's in the process of falling... I agree that the moon looks out of place. It just strikes me as not fitting with the rest of the composition.

I think it's because the feather looks flat that this happens, and after looking at the screenshot you provided, I can see why it looks flat because it looks that way in the screenshot. Except in the screenshot, it is lying on a hard surface. In yours, it is floating on water, a totally different surface, so it doesn't exactly look as though it is floating on the water.The feather is done nicely, but it just looks flat. Perhaps, a curling-feel to the feather might fix that to make it have depth instead of having it look rigid and flat.The moon does seem out of place though, since it shouldn't be that close to the water's surface. It could just be me though. Anyway, don't take my criticism too harshly. I think you did a fine job. What I do like is the glowing circles, it adds a whimsical and magical feeling to the feather, which has a lot to do with the series. Good job incorporating clouds to the background. look simple but very beutiful

This is my all time favorite Tsubasa wall paper! I'm not kidding, this has been my wallpaper for well over a month now. The white feather on the dark background keeps everything looking tidy (which is important to anyone who keeps cluttering up their desktop) with the light spots drawing the eye back to the central focus of the picture... ahh~ *stares at desktop some more* Simply lovely, please keep up the excellent work!!!

Wow, nice image. I can tell why you want to call it "Goddess of the Love". I have a few suggestions though . The BG is nice but gets a little washed out by the lens flare. If you could try reducing the strength of the flare, it would allow the detail of the sky BG to come out more. If you really wanted the light source to be that strong then you would need to adjust the main image of the goddess. With a light source that strong, you would need a strong shadow as well. My suggestion would be to darken the shading (just the parts that are shadows) on the goddess. You could try creating a new sdjustment layer, selecting the already existing shadows, set feather for a few pixels, fill with black or a really dark shade of an analagous color, set layer options to overlay, then adjust the transparency accordingly. If not this method then anything that would increase contrast would work. As usual, i rambled on.....gomen (panting heavily
