Waouw, really an awesome wallpaper. Samurai girl is my background starting now ;-) I like the character and the background is perfect. The color & writings are too good. I don't know this anime but i'll go check it. Good work & fav.

Great job on the Wall :D Considering having not seen Basilisk, you for the most part hit the nail on the head. Without Spoilers, I'll say that the Anime centers around a Scroll, and the background fits that theme very well. Amazing likeness to the anime. (9+_+)

Well done on incorporating the character and the background together. My two problems with it would be the misspelling of Basilisk which was already pointed out and the Egyptian heiroglyphics on the scroll in the background. It's a cool concept, but it doesn't really mix well with the anime nor the character.

The overall idea is excellent, but for a manga which in the japanese middle age, it's surprising to find mesopotamian writings...

The background really adds to the creative and ancient feel of the picture. Cleanly put together and very nice.

Akeginu is my favorite female character in the anime. Maybe it's just me, but wouldn't a red background more suitable for the character? And it might be better to replace the background image with that fateful scroll :)
