First of all any wallie with osaka in it is really cute and secondly i wish i knew what she was doing knifing a box at the same time as smiling.

Hee hee, I also love how you by embedding them into the block, you make the knives look almost like joysticks and hence, play even more off of the "playing in the backyard" idea.

I have been looking for azumanga daioh for ages (specially one of osaka) she is my favourite as she reminds me of me! anyway the setting is cool, i mean i just a glance and thought wow cute, then i had a closer look and realised 'she is playing with knives" innocent background mixed with killer osaka. 8 out of 10

And little did we know that chio-chan was in the box xX;:) :) Nice composition and fits well with the established Azumanga Daioh! Artwork.

Osaka has to be the most used character from that series for wallpapers. Originally i didn't like her, but with all these wallpapers its hard not to give in. Good stuff!!!

What strikes me the most is the COMPOSITION. It looks a bit like playground: everything's so big and colorful.

You were right to keep as few details as possible. That way, Osaka is really part of the background. The perspective of the box is a bit weird but you did a good job with the whole scenery. I would have liked another colors for the house however, something less dark.
