Oh, I was really surprised to see one of Waka Miyama's artworks here. I loved his paintings since I saw them regularly on the Studio GAINAX homepage. You did a good job on the reproduction although the softness of the original artwork has been lost a bit because of the stronger colours.

I really like the way you repainted the scan. The most difficult part in the painting is the pallette colours but as i see from the result it is used wisely. I am enjoying this piece because it is very relaxing to the eye with these pale colours and charaster combination.

I also like the placement of the text, but I can't see a period after the G in "sleeping"!! Lol, that doesn't matter. But maybe since this image is rather serene, the colors shouldn't be so bright. The art at that site is so pretty. The bird in that scan looks amazing! I like all the colors used in the wallpaper. I think the scan might look a little better if it was lighter but it's still a great wallpaper.

Wow,this is really adorable.The original artwork got a more soft texture and light colour,i feel so comfortable by just looking at its.But,yours is not bad either,it is just different than the original one.Yours is more appealing because of a darker colour scheme,and it almost seems like painted with water colour.I bet Miyama Waka will be happy to see what you have did to her's artwork.

I absolutely love the perspective in this wallpaper. The color choices are really good too. I like the way this was 'painted' the best. Compared to the original art, I like the color adjustment you made in the wallpaper. The color choices are more bolder and the overall piece is more interesting with the hints of cool colors.
