First I started by taking taking this scan from the gallery and I vectored both Akito and his Aestivalis as well as extending the spear thing it's holding. I then made the space background using noise filters and some light brushing for brighter stars (brush settings set to scatter and opacity) and added a adjustment layer above it. I then used a tutorial to help me create the planets Mars and Earth, although it didn't turn out the same as I was hoping it would. next I vectored the Nadesico itself from a screencap and added a inner shadow and blue outer glow.

OMG, i'm in the process of doing a Nadesico wall of Akito! I absolutely love him T__T, love the Prince of Darkness movie too but it was so sad. Ok back to earth now, the vectors are great, the placement of the Aestivalis maybe would have been better placed more to the left and scaled down as it's fighting with the vector of Akito. I like the stars but somewhow the planets seem too realistic. Anyway I'm so glad to see a Nadesico-Akito wall, i'm faving it for the memories, great job!

Hmmm? Ill give you props for creating planets but there is lack of creativity next time youll probably do better...

The background is a bit simple, but nice, the colors are looking good. The character looks nice, she fits to the background well. The text could look better though, nice wallpaper.
