I was feeling bored and what better way to remedy then by making a wallpaper! thought id pay homage to my favorite anime of all time, Cowboy Bebop, and my one of my favorite characters Spike.

ok so i vectored most of the spike scan save for the face, neck and forearms (lazy :|) and stuck him on a blank sheet, it took every fiber of my being not to start doing circles which have been done to death lol. So i started vectoring these wing vector shapes (to go with the title).

The rest is history just shapes, scan lines, etc..

WHOA there. You did MIRACLES with that image of the scan you linked to! Haha, the original scan is nothing as amazing as what the background turned out to be.

Still, I thought that it would have been nicer if you made the shapes around the guy, Spike, less dark as to not take away from the central image, which is Spike himself. (Uh...perhaps fading from dark in the centre to light as you go along?) Haha, listen to none of my ramblings.

It's an awesome wallpaper =)

Honestly, I'm not too fond of the background itself but what I love about this are the wing-like shapes. I love that idea. ^^ It certainly spiffed up your wallpaper somehow. ^^

The background is looking interesting, the colors and patterns are good, The character looks good, he fits to the background well. The title is good, nice wallpaper.

A clean and clear wallpaper, but the original idea are the stylized wings near the the centered image of the main character. Simple but impressive!

Looking at this I'm falling into the category of love the image of Spike and the coloring on him and the background, but not loving the wing shapes around him so much...too dark? too many? They do draw the eye to Spike, the focus of the wall, but after that they just become distracting somehow. But overall I like the color scheme and the imagery evoked by this.
