Well, I haven't submitted anything in a while, I know. I've been busy studying and doing last-minute schoolwork so I've been on a Photoshop hiatus (what, me, putting school before vectoring and walling? Amazing.) And this doesn't completely feel like a "recent" work since I actually did the Haruhi vector a while back. I was planning to make a wall like this and decided to start working early since I knew I'd be busy in June. The vector of Haruhi was interesting. I know her grad gown is very simple; I made it up myself without anything to guide me and I'm not that good at such things. I also made her diploma :P. And I changed her hair ribbon colour to match her sash. I think her hair and eyes look nice though. The wall I started about a month later (after changing the Haruhi vector fifty times). First I did the floor. Made it from scratch. Simple enough. Then the curtains. They started off as a stock photo, but I did quite a number on them, recolouring, painting, reshaping, etc. to make them match and not look too realistic. The table I also made from the top of my head. The legs look kind of off, but ignore that. The roses are actually taken from my friend's grad picture, lol. I had to edit out her hand and diploma though. The cap and books are stock, edited. Then the text. I wanted something simple yet effective, and I think this works. Since I'm a texture freak, I tried to add some texture, but it just didn't look as good. Also, this wall doesn't look quite the way it did in the PSD file. After saving it as Jpeg it come out darker and a different colour...well you can see what I mean by looking at it here (bad quality screenshot, I know):ClickOh, I also did the lighting of this wall myself (lighting is fun!). So a lot of this wall was from scratch. So! I wanted this to be a simple grad wall, so graduates could have a wallpaper for the occasion. I imagine this scene to be Haruhi on stage getting her diploma (fast forward a few years of course, Haruhi won't be graduating for a while.) This is dedicated to everyone who is a 2007 grad, congratulations, we made it this far! And I myself will be graduating in just over a week :) After that expect more work from me! Wow, very cute! Excellent idea, and well executed. Though some parts (like table) look jsut a lil' funny, I cant say anything (my tables look the same lawl :P). Anyways, very Clean and makes a perfect wallpaper in my opinion. Good work

8DDD this is my graduation day! 8DD and I found this wallpaper xDDD Hmm the atmosphere is kinda too dark for graduation day :3 Ah, and there is some part of the wallpaper is not really high quality... I dont know if its my computer's fault or what, but yeah, I see that "pixel" part around Haruhi :3
But overall, its a nice wallpaper with a nice concept :3 Keep it up!

Wow.. It's really nice of you to make her a graduate! Although it's quite empty in some sense... Maybe it would be better if all of them were graduates.. Cool.. But that's hard! XD Didn't meant to pressure you, you know.. Teehee ^^; And it would be really cool if she was in a yearbook... LOL XD
But after all, the idea was well executed, I must say that you did a great job after all. Keep it up ^^

Really great wallpaper ;-) I like Haruhi because it's a different anime. Anyway, the 2007 graduation is a good idea because it makes me think of mine : i'll be graduated in 15 days as an aeronautics & aerospace engineer ^_^ About the wallpaper, i think the graduation hat is missing. It would have been a plus :) The background is simple and good. Really a great job.

Few days ago is my graduation day from senior high school ^^ I'm so glad to find this wall!! Btw, great curtain, but I think it would be nice if it reach the bottom, I mean - longer, so it'll looks like she's taking her last photo on a stage or something. About the table.. the desk and the table's leg is somehow not fit, maybe because of the gradient. I don't know you use it or not on the leg, but it sure looks like no gradient on it. The flower still looks a bit real. I like the font. As kiru said, I think there's a bit atmosphere issue. Anyway, good job. It's a nice wall ^^

I graduated high school last year, but this wall still brings back memories of my high school graduation :)
I rather like this wall. Your lighting is really nice, and since it's a Haruhi wall, it makes it that much better ^^ But the perspective needs some work, mainly the table. The floor boards aren't at the proper 'disappearing' perspective (y'know, where things get closer and closer together and smaller and smaller the further it is), and the table is awkwardly shown in a weird angle. Plus, I wish you vectored the book and flowers too, to match the style of the rest of the wall.
On the flip side, I absolutely like the lighting with the curtains, and your vector of Haruhi rocks. The lighting and shadowing that you did on the curtains is really, really impressive. I wish I could do that >_< Anyways, nice wall. There's just a few things that need fixing, so keep that in mind next time ^^

That looks great! Me like ^_^. You did a wonderful job on the background and also making the little diploma Haruhi has =]. The table looks good too, I would have move the right side of the leg a little bit to the left so that the other one would hide it just a little. But it's not a big deal =]. Thanks for making this wallpaper, we are graduates! ^_^. Too bad she doesn't have the color of my gown though (golden) XD LOL. Nice work ASH-chan!

Graduation theme is nice. Great of you to make her graduate. Haruhi looks so cute here. But it's kinda empty. The designs and the effects are well-executed. I don't find the table realistic enough. Still, you did a good job with the curtains. The whole wallie is just awesome.
