DN Angel This is Insanity

Fantastic stuff! I have the same scan and have been working on it (*chuckle* or not working on it) for a long time. I just cannot seem to get the broken glass effect that I wanted to work right.

So when I saw this, it caught my attention. An excellent way to use the scan, very dark and fitting of Daisuke's pose and attire! You had the same problem I did with the scan (those stupid pieces of glass that overlapp him are hard to remove), but you did an excellent job!

Congrats on getting not one, but TWO wallpapers done. No longer lazy?

Ah, the dark side of Daisuke....no pun intended.
Hehe. But yeah, I really love what you did with this wall. It's definitely a very different kind of DNAngel wall that you normally see (which is usually a happy kind of atmosphere). Though you really can't distinguish all too well the black markings on the well in the background because of the black in the background. Nevertheless, great work.

I guess the title really isn't exactly shot straight to the heart, but it makes sense. Simple works fine; at least that title probably was what jumped out at you, which means it is of worth in itself....

Sorry, I must be ranting a bit. Well, just to comment a bit on the wallpaper you submitted. It's definitely DNAngel. Grunginess sure works very well with this series. I think Yukiru Sugisaki's later and current sharp and bold art style just lends itself to this adolescent (?) angst kind of mood perfectly.

Nice grungy wall. There are some touch ups I would make to the extraction, on the hair, etc, but all in all, a nice wall.

Not bad,like the concept you used....but the font looks a little plain.Like it's just there,and thats it.

Bloody Heaven, This is a very cute way of making something into what it is not. The wings in the backing are my favorite part aren't they the same ones Cerberus has ? On the way down the scan of Daisuke kind gets more stretched it seems and fuzzy don't no if you just vectored the face or that how the scan came but it could use some cleaning. As for the text it docent look bad but i don't think you really need it especially with that kind of font. "2½*z"

Poor Daisuke!!! T_T Although i dont know what happen to him But when I saw him in this wall, half angle half demon, he really poor Hey! Is this real or fade ??? If it real, i'll really sad I like the background the most Hihi! Good work ^-^

Looks like the scene of a murder. I've always imagined this render in a brighter lighting, because with this series darkness brings comfort while white brings pain and isolation.

Is Daisuke meant to be sitting on something floating?

PArt from that, everything falls into its proper places very properly. I think the bandaged Daisuke wouldn't come off more powerful grungy like this than vectored because you sort of get the impression that he's bleeding somewhere. The maroon palette obviously was meant to bring that notion out.

I think you could perhaps come up with a more adventurous lettering to really go with the feel of the wallpaper?

I love the grunge concept that's going on here. This really captures another side of Daisuke that I don't like seeing because I like him as that cute boy-next-door kind of character. But it's totally awesome, so good job!
