Good lord... This is one awesome simplicity black and white wallpaper! Faved! I dunno what to say, this makes it so great cause the whole wallpaper is clean and cut down to the bottom in white plus wholesomely made for stylish minimalism.

sorry. can't help myself I dislike the whole original design you used. the character disgusts me. that's other thing that you like it. Even If I liked the character and the design I think you placed him too high, the cut off legs floating in nothing is way too visible this way. And the lines coming out from his brain are going out of the monitor, not a pleasant thing to see. these would me my problems about this wall's 'building up'. And I would mention the effort you put in it too. Not too much is it? Way too simple, even using the minimalistic black and white colors... I know you love them but only loving them is not really enough to create a good thing. Anyway I know styles are styles, opinions are opinions since we are here to bulid up a community I told my opinion too.

I like the concept of this wall, in all it's grotesque detail (that's a good thing :P). I just feel that the execution could be better.

The text placement at the bottom isnt centred and doesn't line up with the rest of the design. We all know the title of the wall because it's displayed on AP, but the right text is hard to read within the wall. It's hard to make out the P and the D.

The most left and right lines at the top of the wall have little bulges on them and I don't have a clue what they're for.

Most of your work is very interesting and thought provoking. Your use of colour in some of your walls is a real strong point. I'd scrap this black and white look because you can do better with just a few more colours. Draw our eyes to different parts of the walls instead of a very basic vector on a white background. After all, the mods did say that simple vectors weren't being accepted as walls...

I'll await your next walls with anticipation, but to me, this is disappointing

i have to agree... minimalistic walls need something more than just some b&w vectored design.. i know your vectors are nice, and well done but i can't avoid to think that this wall it doesn't look interesting to my eyes... sorry to say this but you just followed the lines of some images and didn't add much more... >_<

anolibb, your comment although attempting to be critical i find is more subjective then anything else. you mention you dont like the character, well thats a matter of personal preference and really isnt noting.
and others about effort, walls are not about effort, they are about looking good on your desktop. I could care less honestly if someone spent 5 seconds or 50 hours making a wall as along as it looks good. Of course given the obvious, that it isn't just a cropped scan or the like.

personally, i recommended adding some shades of gray or what not. but honestly i dont tihnk there is any problem at all only doing black and white. its really not a matter of effort in my opinion. he could have taken the extra i dont know....two minutes?! to simply fill in some colors but he didnt want to, meaning its simply how he wants it to look.

given all that yea, if you dont like how it looks thats fine. but i dont tihnk you can bash the guy for not putting in effort

There is a limit to minimalism, and I think this one is at it's border. I like the vector and the composition, but the lack of any background kind of bothers me =/ Interesting selection for the vector though.

Another black and white vectored piece. There's been a good trend from swordfish lately and there's no reason it should stop. He's done a lot of work and it paid off for the final piece. Not having read MPD, I am attracted to the dark and distinct style. It's an interesting choice to do and he did it successfully. The image fits in really well and the structure make it stand out in the middle. I admit I liked the Akira wall better, only because one side was black and the other white, a clear transition. There is more plain but i have no quarrels about that. It looks great as it is.

Definitely deserving of a +fav.

This wall is pretty creepy! The brain thing is very scary, hah. I like some of your B/W walls, but this one seems like it is missing something - can't put my finger on it tho. Interesting design and nice vectoring! I know you want this in B/W but may be more interesting with a splash of colour. :)

b&w all over again, good simple vector and easy simplicity. i find this a bit empty :S maybe i got spoiled ore there is something wrong with me, but i find it a bit to empty and all :/ still good vecotring and detailing. and besides this way you managed to spend attention to not-known-manga ^Beckor

Nice, clean vectoring. The lines are kind of distracting. I like how you've positioned the images and text, but perhaps you could have played around with the fonts a bit more.

recently experienced some problem with "Lucifer"(My pc is called that way).His hard drive and GPU died cause elecricity supply problem (you see almost whole Greece was on fire few days ago) and now he is "ressurected" I can start over again making some new walls/ideas,or finishing the WIP I have(40 or more) To tell you the truth I didnt believe that this project was going to be a wall,I was just experimenting with my new Photoshop CS3! Till now I was using version CS ,and the new GUI was kinda weird,but in the end its much better! The wall is just a trace I made from a scan I had from a scanlation of the novel.(Later I saw that it was on AP's gallery too,damn) Havent read it yet,but I intend to,MPD-Psycho seems so promising.
