New Wall! XD I had to start a new wall after my previous wall misshap -_-''. And I was very determined to make a Mamotte Shugogetten wall. So anyways I was scanning through the AP scan gallery, and came across this very summerish scan. I thought since I just finished school and started summer, I should make a summerish wall. So I grabbed the scan a headed to photoshop. The wall contains three of the characters from Mamotte Shugogetten, Shaorin (purle head), Kiryuu (red head), and Rishu (chibi). There sitting on a roof with birdies everywhere and their annoying anime girl hair blowing in the wind (developed a hatred for anime girl hair). It was a bit hard to clean up this scan (ie hair), and well actually i got lucky cause the person who scanned this did a good job in scanning because usually Mamotte Shugogetten scans suck. This is mainly because its such an old anime and manga so the pics tend to get old.. Anyways I like how it turned out..

This wallpaper reminds me of Summer. I can almost feel the breeze that is blowing the youg ladies hair back. This really is a very nice wallpaper. I like the way the sky looks with just the right shade of blue and great looking clouds. Nice bright colours and good sharp detail. I like the way the sunlight makes the ladies faces glow like that. Very nice indeed! The text looks great too. Nice font! Favorite and instant download!

The clouds are really pretty - did you paint them, or were they from stock photography/another scan? I really like the calm scene introduced here.
The girls, however, look way too sharp. Even without my glasses for my astigmatism, they look super-sharpened!
The idea is definitely a solid one, and as I noted earlier the sky is gorgeous, but the low quality extraction and sharpness of the characters is a definite minus. Keep trying, I'm sure you'll get better at fixing the characters in time! (:
