Kannaduki no Miko is one of my favorite animes, so I really wanted to wall this it. I really enjoy doing scenic walls so it was fun making this, and ive never done a widescreen wall so this will be a first for me.
The wall was based off a scan, and a bunch of screencaps, and a few things made from scratch. xD I extracted the arch, and made a sky. I couldnt use the moon because it was cut off and too small. So then I had to go through the extreme pain of finding a replacement. I think I went through about 10 different planets before I was satisfied. First I found a really large pic of the moon, colourized it and placed some effects on it, but that turned out pretty darn hideous. Then I tried taking a planet tutorial… XD that REALLY didn’t work… lol! So then I was so frustrated I took parts of the moon from the scan and some screencaps from the show and pieced them together and built a new moon. loL! Then came the field of death flowers. -_-'' I really despise flowers now. I painted the flowers!! Yay! I made a template field of flowers from the scan and screencaps and then painted them! my first painting ^^
For the char...this is a first for me to have such small characters in such a large wall. But of course, they would be out of proportion if I had made them bigger, and I really liked the size of the moon and arch. So the characters are from a screencap as well, and so are the mountains.
Ok so then the sky, obviously I used a gradient, but then I added nice little stars around the moon. Then I added little glowing petals above the field and some clearer ones mostly around the arch. And finally I added an o so awesome texture over the entire wall. ^^ So that’s my Kannaduki No Miko wall, and I call it “Overlapping Sun and Moon”. This is the title of one of the episodes, and it was so pretty I decided to use it. Ok, enjoy! Comments are welcome please!

This is like... WOAH! On the other hand, it's kind of flat x_x maybe it's because you added a shadow behind the arc. Nevertheless, you work deserves a fav+!

Whoa for that long description without enter lol the flowers are flat, add some more shadow xD and that yellow fog thingy >xD me lurve that gate < 333 and the moon is crazy xDDD

O (o_o) !! you just fused my brain out...lol Nice work with the wall.. mm... the way the flower fields gets covered by the fog does look strange bu the overall look is really cool. Hmmm... i hope i can make a scenic wallpaper someday!!

Oh, one of my favorite scene in this series is one with this arch. It looks so great just by itself... And this wallpaper lokks great with it too.

The landscape offered in this wallpaper is common. What makes it worth the 'fave-add' is this is one awesome screencapture. You've done it beautifully... and mystically. +fav

The background attract me to see that wallpaper! The background is reliable very very beautiful abd grand, under the earth for fighting is a good idea, i thank. If the character can larger, i think this wallpaper maybe better, ths for sharing this great wallpaper!

Oh! this is the final scene of Kannaduki No Miko. Chikane and Himeko were fighting with each other. I must say this is great. :>D It is not usual to minimize the characters in a wallpaper, but this one is good. The background is emphasized. The arch, moon, and the flowers on the ground are highlighted, Great! Thanks for sharing your work. Good job!

Oh, d00d... Why did I not comment on this? I love Kannaduki no Miko (mostly the songs, but anyway) and I've been meaning to wall something some time soon...
Anyway, I love the texture of the whole wall. But what's best is how Chikane and Himeko look so darn detailed even though they are so darn small. O_O

The scenery is so wonderful it looks very surreal. However, it takes the attention away from the two characters fighting at the bottom. Maybe, if they are your focus, you can do more to make people take notice of them.

Wow! First off, as soon as I saw this, I started to hyperventilate! I've always loved the picture of the arch on the moon, and its great that I can finally stare at it all the time as a background to my desktop! Well done! Plus you get extra points for the pretty title.

Though the persons in the wall are sparring, it gives me such a sense of calm. I can't quite put my finger on why but the scene is very beautiful.

An amazing wall. The flowers are beautiful, and the arch looks pretty cool. I think the earth in the background is a little weird looking but nothing too bad. The girls are kinda small but as you said any bigger and it'd mess with the proportion.
Overall a very beautifully done wallpaper, although the focus seems more on the background than on the actually characters. It looks like it's a scene strait from the anime.

This is a great sceneic piece. Ugh, just thinking about their fight scene makes me want to cry. ;.; This wallpaper is really nice though. The beauty that surrounds them just makes the battle seem that much more intense. Also the earth looming over them is such a nice touch, considering the reason one of them has to die is to protect it. Kudos to you. C:
