Another wall from me... umm.. yes, I hate introductions.
Anyways.. I love Takamichi Artworks. I had the scan for ages, but I've never thought about it as a possible wall, but some days ago, as I was browsing through my stock of scans, I found it and an idea struck. The idea was totallly different from what you see. I had in mind an abstract wall, with an abstract vector and at first I only vectored their outlines and wanted to vector the hair a little more special. After I did that, I realised I could make the scenic wall after all and keep the background as it was. Of course, after a few paint-overs and some cleaning and some other stuff, I left the background alone and got to vector their bodies. It wasn't that hard to do and as anyone could expect, the hair was the most consuming part.
I started this on Monday, I guess.. and it's finally done after some different versions.
Eh.. I like how it turned out and .. well.. I hope you like it too.
On the other side of the story, I'm thinking about quitting walling, since I think I'm very lame and.. oh, well.. can't figure out some ideas on how to improve or something. Anyway.. guess i won't wall for some time, but that's no big deal :)), since i kinda suck =))

You've made a fairly nice wall here :) I don't see why you're hard on yourself. From looking at your wallpapers, your vectoring is great, and so is your design sense. And here, this wallpaper supports that ^^ The scan-cleaning that you did is very nice, and you've kept a very romantic mood though the whole wall with the soft colors.
At any rate, I hope you are just taking a break from walling rather than all-out quitting. As far as I can tell, you are improving in you own time, though maybe not as fast as you'd like to be. Anyways, nice wall :) +fav

hmmm... slightly pinkish and grainy... and it looks great.... wohooo.. too many cool wallpapers flowing in in the past few days.. nice work with the background.. on a whole it has a very photographed feel to it. nice work... hmmm... 70's camera style....lol

the colours are nice and soft, and adds to the atmosphere. great bg too. love the characters (and their positions...and the kiss xD) great concept too. good vectoring.

the use of textures is amazing. it looks like someone took a colorpencil and colored the whole thing perfectly. so pretty, a real work of art and the scan is nice too

What I like in this wall is that everything blends so smoothly. Even the text does. I've also noticed that almost all of your walls have a really special color scheme. Weird huh?

from what we've seen so far, nothing of any of your walls is remotely close to being lame. you have great choice in your scans and great style. please keep it coming! this one is beautifully done.
