umm, wonderful regardless of background, there aint too much free space left, so who cares everything is done very dutifully and no real flaws can be found especially the lighting is worth admiration heck i should watch this anime... and get a bigger screen...

Very nice! Seirei no Moribito is such an extraordinary series… The glowing effect is really cool, I especially like how it reflects in Balsa's eyes. Oh, and kudos for being the first one posting a wallpaper for this beautiful series. :)

AWESOME!!!! I love what you did withthose energy waves or whatever they are around the spear. This an excellent wallaper. The lighting in this wallpaper is pretty much flawless. The only thing I don't like is the actual character, but that has nothing to do with the wallpaper so I can't complain. Once again this is a masterpiece and I would love to know how you created those energy wave things that surround the spear. Fantastic job. Keep up the excellent work!

wow, nice job with the lighting effects, but I think it would be way better with a background, something or anything. if you would've stuck with the first scan and mountains or something it would look cool without the blue lighting. a night sky or something would've looked cool though.

I've been following the series for a while and found the story to be quite intriguing. There's no doubt that the animation quality of this one is very good. But enough about the series...

The image looks very good and I like the added lighting effects placed on her spear. I think if I was making a wall like this that I'd be having a hard time finding a suitable background to go with Balsa. I do not mind a simple black background. But I'll be one to say that it might have been better if we could find a decent background to go with her. I'm adding this as a favorite as this is something I'll eventually use as a wallpaper (once I get that urge to use a different WP).

Kyaahh! It's Balsa!! The lighting around her spear is really cool!! The blue is very nice~ It looks like an official wallpaper because of the logo, haha. Nice extraction. But her face/skin kinda looks grainy. Or maybe it's from the lighting effect? And although I think in reality the shine in one of her eyes is probably correct, I would still like to see both eyes shining XD. It's a shame there are no scans where Balsa looks fiercer (it's kind of a blank stare here). Anyways, I like the plain BG, but I think this wallie would look a lot better without the bars on the top and bottom.

A Seirei no Moribito wallpaper :) I've been too lazy to even consider walling anything from this series, so props for making this awesome wall ^^ The glow is very well done, but some of the edges of the scan stand out for some weird reason. It's not an extraction problem, but it just sticks out. Otherwise, love the wall :)

I thought that the light that shone in surroundings of the blade was a very impressive work.

In the part not thought to be be regrettable, it is a place that the tip of the blade of the spear shines where the character has darkened oppositely. Because the color is dark, it is felt that the impression of the character has thinned.

I'm a big Seirei no Moribio fan, and mourn daily over the lack of recognition it gets for it's artistic style and quality production value. Balsa is one of the most dynamic female characters in anime, yet she will always get overlooked for big busted, green haired characters that are more appealing to the eyes than the mind.

This is an excellent wallpaper, however, a text less version might have worked better. The kanji is somewhat distracting, yet even so -- it looks grand!

Nice wallpaper. To me though, Balsa a little too much in the dark, and you probably could have done without the black bars on the top and bottom, but lightning effect was a nice touch.

Very nice work. I like the darkness illuminating effect off the spear blade. The shadow effect over Balsa's torso is very well done, and I also like the light patterns.

First of all i really like this anime it has everything i want in it. i don't usually like smudged wallpapers i want them very sharp, but i like this one thanks for doing this wallpaper of Balsa because she's so kick ass.

Ooh, this is pretty cool. I recently watched Moribito, and it's made it into my top 10 anime series. So I guess what we're supposed to be seeing here is Chagum's water spirit blessing Balsa's spear with it's power? That would have been interesting had that actually happened in the anime. Although, I guess it doesn't really make sense in the context of the story.

Anyway, yeah, good job on the wall, the lighting effects are cool and really set the mood for the image.

Favorited on account of it being a) one of only two wallpapers for this series (where's the love?); b) on one of my favorite anime characters; and c) it being very pretty.
