Blood Plus Quietude

Wow, there's no other word than "beautiful" to describe this wall. Despite your doubts this wall is on par with your previoiusly mentioned "amazing walls".

Blood+ is a series filled with chaos and to see such a display of calm and relaxation is rare indeed. Your choice of colors is what really sells this wall, they're bright but not blinding and set the mood perfectly. I also love the detail, especially on the hair. I've done that before so I can feel your pain (literally) and that you painted this entire wall with a mouse is impressive.

I'm a huge Blood+ fangirl so I'm always excited to see new, excellent wallpapers in this section. I hope to see more like this from you in the future! +fav

This is one of my favorite scenes from Blood +. The only time when you can see a serene look on Saya's face. You've made her look so tranquil. Its lovely. Your efforts are quite clearly visible on the wall!

You can't imagine how excited and pleased I am to see this Blood+ wallpaper. Such is the rare case where someone brings out the lighter, calm and soothing side of the series. Going to my fav without a moment's delay.

You totally succeeded in capturing the quiet and serene atmosphere in this wall. Love the vector that you did on Saya, especially the warm glow cast upon her. It's very well done. The only thing that I don't quite agree is probably the bg. Can't quite make out what it is. But since the main focus is Saya, I think you did a darn good job on it. ^^

What I like about this wallpaper is the lighting. How as the morning sun touches her clothes the lines kind of glow. Very well done job. (+fave)

You know what? You're not being given more credit than you deserve. This. Is. Wonderful. Flat out.

I love the hazy look to it where it feels dreamy. The title fits really well, too! (Hahah, but I definitely lol'ed at quietude. XD Such a funny made up word haha)... The hair is absolutely beautiful... along with her eyelashes, and everything about her. Looking at the curtains, you gave it the same mood as Saya.

Now, some criticisms about it... but there are very few. I would've loved it if you blurred the lines that defined her arm. That would've completed the dreamy look... it looks too sharp there. Uhm... looking at the white outlines of her dress... WONDERFUL! Except... down near the bottom... I would've liked a gradient of color that went a bit darker where the light didn't hit.

But overall. An amazing wallpaper. This is going into my favorites because of that. It's rare that you get to see such a nice "calm" wallpaper nowadays. Kudos to you screencapping it and making the wallpaper... with your mouse. Haha... err... I hope your shoulderblade gets better!! :[

If you used the screencap for the curtains, and people believed you made them from scratch, that's a talent in itself. Any animator knows how much a shortcut can save time from lots and lots of drawings.

Sure, there are some small things that could be better with the wall, but I won't go on since they've all been discussed already. What I like is the serenity of the whole thing. It's so perfect for walling. Thanks for bringing us this small gift.

I think that an impression is very good. The textures of hair are often expressed and are wonderful. And it is also nice to familiarize with the background etc. the line of the character compared with light. It's great work. and favorite. ^^

The character looks great and the scene is well thought out but I'm not to keen on the shadowing and the contrast you used. It looks like a colorburn blending piece which isn't to appealing to the eyes. However, I understand why the window is so bright, but the other parts could have been toned down some.

This is...gorgeous.

The best walls, imo, are the ones that have a very natural, 'everyday' feel, but are made in such a detailed and vibrant way that they stand out. This is definitely one of them.

The 'everyday feel' is captured by a girl (in this case, Saya) sitting at a windowsill, peacefully dozing off to sleep. The details are captured in her hair (which is simply amazing btw), the bright, rich colours (especially those on the curtain) and the vector detail.

I really don't know what to say except it's perfect. You took a casual scene and totally brought it to life. +fav

What praise can I say that hasn't already been mentioned?! It's a very nice vector and a wonderful scene to have as a wallpaper! I suggest that the curtains and the window sill also be outlined with thinner lines to give them more... substance? Also, I don't think her whole dress should be outlined lightly because the sun doesn't really reach that side. It kind of makes her look like she's turning invisible, hehe. And that's my suggestions. Oh, and her hair is very beautiful! I think it matches pretty well with the rest of the wallie. I fave! Take care of yourself! This was one of my favorite moments in the anime, most notably because it's one of those rare peaceful moments, especially during the second half of the series where things just get bloodier, more violent and more suspenseful. I love the effect that you used on Saya; it simply brings out the solitude that she has in this particular scene.

Wow! this wall just took the breath out of my mouth. You shouldn't doubt your ability, there's a reason why you got the best grade, keep it up and have more faith in yourself. I like the way the morning sunset shines on Saya and makes her skirt lines kinda glow. Even though the wall has a lot of yellow color in it, it looks really good. Her blurred hair also looks fantastic. By the way, very impressive mouse work. It's amazing how people can make the walls atmosphere look so tranquil and calm considering that the Blood + series is mainly focused on sorrow and bloody gore effects. This wallpaper I've never seen before till it popped up on the home page. It's a really nice wall a nice mix of simple but also really vibrant color palette. I also like the calming effect, seriously it makes me just want to relax myself. Really great job!

This one is love. I'm really fond of the lightning, and the peaceful mood. Is really bright as a wallpaper and I'm sure I'll cry with it on my desk for a week, but as art is very nice.

I'm a huge fan of Blood+ as well and I definitely admire what you did with Saya here (the lighting and voloring is great :D). You really wouldn't think the anime where the wall is taken from is sad and gory. It's really beautiful. Definitely deserves a fav.

You may not think you did that well of a job but it is one of the better walls that I have seen for this anime. Blood+ to me was extremely violent with very few quiet moments. You captured this one perfectly. Thank you for making this amazing wall.

One thing i like most about this wallpaper is the sleeping character: Saya! <3 The light ambiance in this wall is just soo angelic. The curtains are nicely textured. Kind of blurred but that's the nice thing about it. The lining, lighting and shadowing of this wall is just great! All are subtly done and its like i'm seeing a photo captured from a DSLR here!

Though, IMO, i felt that this wallpaper needs a text title to complement it more. Maybe can put it at the top right side of the wall. Well, it's my opinion though, maybe this wallpaper will look ugly if any texts title would be put LOL

Anyway, this is one heck of a lovely wallpaper. I felt rather melancholic viewing it (the anime also felt that way). Well, thanks for the <3-ly wallpaper! ^_^

I open up a tab, head over here to AP, and BAM! On the front page, a wall I've never seen before. I love it. It's beautiful, soft, understated, classic. The white lines are so beautiful in contrast with the darker lines and just the calm, smeared quality of everything is so, as your title would suggest, quiet. Brilliant. AAHHHH. I love it!

This wallpaper is very nice considering Blood+ from what i rember was very gorey and sad(me personally i liked BloodC better) but anyways i like how you would never expect somone to create a peaculscene with Saya in it, very unqie and my eyes and the color scheme is right on. Relaxing indeed, I hope she doesn't fall on the ground though, if the yellow and reds were dark blue and green it would fit great on my desktop, just to enjoy it much more, good job!... ^_^

It's very nice, very beautiful. The creamy light, creamy really enhance the peaceful summertime afternoon setting, and the cream yellow and salmon brings out her serene expression. The detail on the hair is very nice, and I like how you choose to outline the skirt in white, as if it reflects off the glare of the sun. I only wish you hadn't chosen to make the background so bright... my eyes sort of hurt looking at it. Also, the dark brown outline you use for the right side of her body feels too dark, given her light skin tone and the bright background.

Simply breathtaking. There are no need for words or descriptions - the fact that Saya is sleeping soundly against the rays of the sun are enough to set the mood and atmosphere for this charming wallpaper. I adore it, as I adore her character. Wonderful work!
