Eureka Seven In the zone

This is a really beautifull wallpaper. I love eureka seven wallpapers and this one is exceptionally beautifull. I love the glow effects and the brush that you used to make the swirls. You did a really nice job on this wallpaper and I really do love it. Keep up the good work man!

Good job! this is my first wallpaper, and it took quite some time. First, I started off with this scan of Eureka. I had to extract her from the background, which was quite time-consuming, and then I had to rebuild her missing arm. That was actually quite simple. After that came the choice of the background. As the anime is all about the sky, I thought a picture of some clouds will do nicely. After that, I used some custom brushes to create the swirls around Eureka, and did some smudging(with a custom brush) and blending. I added 2 more adjustment layers, and run my special script ^^. That was it. Thanks for everyone's suggestions in Session Zero and in the forum as this was in progress. With your help, this wallpaper is what it is now.

Lovely usage of blue. Great first paper.

Very nice choice of scan, pose wise, but not drawn wise(if you get what i mean). I like the wave effects you used, sin-cos, mathematic kind of waves. The only think i dont so much like about this is the sort of "sketchy/patchy aura" around Eureka, but i guess that could be chalked up to the fact that its a patchy/sketchy drawing. I'd prefer if it were, like blended, or using more of an intense dark blue...but thats just me. fine job mate!

Wow, this is your first wallpaper? Then you are really talented in making them! I love the conception of the picture - the background is simple but fits to the theme well, and the girl is pretty and looks so calm with her closed eyes. Good job, I like this picture a lot! ^^

The details are very "uniform." You didn't say whether you were going for realism or not, but if you were, when you tear a newspaper in real life, it doesn't look like you used a brush in photoshop evenly across the edges. Uneven-ness and irregularity would make this look less pasted on. The newspaper texture doesn't look like newspaper either, more like a generic paper texture. Also the watch placement would be better served sitting on the newspaper scrap, as it would act more like a paper weight and there could be curling up of the edges on the newspaper which would result in different shading on the wood, wrinkling and other details to make it more interesting to look at.

Anyhow, nice job, it's very clean and I like the brand-spanking new watch.
