long live the grunge and style. this one is indeed great, love the colors, and best of all, the textures, everything is made with skill and excellence, gothic and clarity presented at the same time. Very very good work and I hope you keep it up.

I'm not really sure what to say about this...I made it because I wanted a new WS wallpaper, and wanted to submit it because I haven't in so long. Honestly without knowing how to vector it's hard to compare myself to the others who submit here. But what can I do? :P

It took me a while to feel good about the turn out, because there was a lot of tweaking involved. Pretty much I played with colours, textures, and layers until I got what I wanted. The focus here is mainly the eyes, which I thought were just perfectly cute and freaky at the same time. I went for a very painted, grunge feel, which is why I left most of it alone when it came to "clean up". Honestly in my opinion it looks fine...but I have a feeling I'll meet the various 'it's not clean enough' complaints, which is cool. We all like our different things.

'Gossamer' is supposed to reflect that spiderweb that's caught dangling/floating in the leaves and bushes. She started to remind me of that, which is why I called her Gossamer. Fey are so interesting and cute.

IMO a bit more blending (feathering & colors) on the character especially on the diamond might be good ideas. There is sparkling stardust around the character but its just focusing on center. If you can make the stardust flowing alive (upwards maybe), it would look nice. just my 2 cents.

Grunge wallpapers usually get an instant fav from me, and that's exactly what will happen with this one too <3 I like the background, and textures you used, and I'm glad you decided not to make a 'clean' wallpaper in the end - the feeling would definitely be lost, and it would be such a pity. Oh yes, her eyes are amazing! It was a wise thing to focus entire wall on her eyes, because they are so eye-catching (eye-catching eyes... LOL). Well, nothing more to say about this one, except great job!! ^-^ +fav

The best wallpapers are not always vectored ones! Grunge is great too! I think the depth around her looks really cool. And I really like the focus on the eyes. But I think that starting from the neck down, it looks kind of flat because of the textures. I don't know how to fix that, but I think maybe if it was... dirtier? Lol. Oh I think the far left side is like that too. Maybe the textures are too blurry? And her head is grainy yet clear, so I think it should all be really clear. Nonetheless, you have a really pretty idea.

I think that this really is a eye catching wallpaper. I agree with you one hundred percent on the eyes and I think that you did a very good job with them and I like the way it turned out. I also really like the rest of the wall paper the color and the textures look well done .To me it seems that everything blends in perfectly well and nothing stands out as being totally out of place. Dark coloring is a wonderful work. The balance of the flower and the girl whom the girl has in the hand is good, and wonderful, too.

this wallpaper u make is very unique and the eyes of the girl in your wall paper can bring out the loneliness and desire for people to save her from that particular situation. but i think the colour of the girl is too white and blank, thus causing the whole wallpaper to be not prefect. if you take note of this, in the future, i am sure that your wallpaper will be very nice! keep up your gd work!
