hm. well, this is an example wall for the contest over at celestial-luminesse (please check it out XD). Its crappy because I tried to finish it fast. Too bad I had to pick an anime category...I wanted to see how many people could guess what anime its from, but then again the scan might be kind of popular XD.
I went with the night color theme - black, purple, blue. see, there are ways to get around the rules *points at fingernails* I didnt use white, but I did use a very light purple XD.
and I cant believe I just gave you guys one way to cheat my own rules. haha.
oh yea, and notice how i did the night color theme but it didnt necessarily mean I made everything dark.
vectored in illustrator, some stuff done in photoshop. i dont know how i feel about those scribbles. oh and i felt that i should try something abstract than doing scenic stuff all the time. yes, I took out Naru's (is that her name? cant remember) halter top because i wanted it to look simple. I hate nude girls but what the heck.
im so sorry I havent had any time at all to go around and thank everyone for their wonderful comments, criticism and favs! Im working for 10 hours almost everyday and I only get on for about 30 minutes now and with CL, my website, wallpapers, facebook...etc. I just dont have much time on my hands but I REALLY DO APPRECIATE YOU PEOPLE! *huge hug*

well, fix the lines a bit, the irregularity of them are "fighting" with the sharpness of the "kiss me goodbye" effect you putted on her hand its good, but what i told above bothers me... fix that and tell me

Awesomely stylish wall ^^ I love how you used scribbles for some of the shadowing, and the text and wind effects are really well done. The colors work together nicely, though I could have sworn that her nails were white xD Love the wall. +fav

oo a love hina wall < 33 u did a nice job with the lineart, but uve got some jaggies going on there and a few wobbly lines xD mm.. i also like the use of text here ;3 nice job ^^ +fav. chuuuuuuuuuuu! *sry, i had to say that* xD lol!

hello the wallpaper is great, i loved the colours and the overal idea of the project. some parts of the concept i think i would do different like colour skeme and all but its just something personal, things i think would work better with the characters chosen and the idea you had. its a bit too pink for me and there would be better to have something more of the character appearing, just to give a feeling to the general idea. but it is a good idea and works for me keep your good work

Hey, cool design, cool idea too, i really like your wallpaper :) Mm, maybe the only thing i don't really appreciate, it's the ear line crossed with the hair, it's not huge but it's the first thing i saw when i fulled view (sry for my weird english XD). Anyway it's nice, I really like your work! Favorite :D
