I did that in the Legislature in Alabama and got denied because the Newspaper I worked for was online only.
Even if you did somehow take someones badge there is still the issue of Sony letting you take pics from the event
they just asked me to stop but let me keep whatever photos I managed to snap
then that's not so bad, just take a few good pics and play dumb
try not to carry your camera in something that screams "camera bag" though
at these events if you take pics they kick you out of the venue or convention even taking away your attendee badge
i saw someone get dragged out at AX before
getting past initial security check is easy imo; it's the guards inside the venue that you have to watch out for
Someone at a SHINee concert was kicked out coz they took pics on stage when they were not with the press and confiscated everything on em
at nokia theater by AX its impossible to even get a camera in though
geez they're serious about not taking pictures, what is this north Korea?
they have straight up airport style security. metal detector and xray bag check
a lot of them don't want you taking negative photos of the event I guess
