Nana: City Lights

Wow so much bright red, I love it! xD *fascinated with the pretty lights* Anyway great job on this it??s definitely a unique wall. Now what really caught my attention was the fact that there is no text, but it still looks good. Well done indeed. I can??t really think of anything to critique on the wall is a bit on the simple side but that is just personal preference so whatever. Anyway, brilliant job as always! Keep it up! +fav

I really like this. The colors are awesome. But I wish you had moved the neon behind her or maybe lowered it on the wall. It takes away so much from the character.

this is soooo cool. i love ur title in neon lights, ur r even blending the title into the wall...awesome!! i would love it more if the busy traffic (red part) is behind her instead, coz it somwhow diverted the attention from the character and it seems illogical to have traffic moving below her (just my opinion).... still, i really love the wall's concept. really nice work!

wow! I really love the neon lights and the scan is nice, too. The only thing I don't like is the red down at the bottom.. It feels out of place to me. It takes away from your background and the scan. Other than that, I love the idea and your wall. Great job!

The colors, Duke, the colors!!

Seriously though, I like how the colors blend in well with each other. It depicts the nightlife very well. Although some areas at the bottom are a little too bright for my taste, but that is just my opinion. Still, the wallpaper is neatly done, and I hope to see more from you in the future!

Great execution of the concept! Have you seen Lost in Translation, with Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson? This reminds of me of that film. A lost soul amongst the glaring bright lights of the big city. Though, I suppose Junko is too street wise to ever be described as lost.

It so bright! I really love the concept behind this, it seems you put some real thought and effort into this piece. I do have one complaint...Shes so clean and clear but the background behind her is so blurry. It seems you did this intentionally, but I think a little perspective would've helped this piece. Keep the blur..but make the blurs closer to the scan less blurry? :)

This is a very striking wallpaper. I love the color's vibrancy and the contrast that you mentioned between the kimono and the bright lights. It makes the girl sort of fade into the background (she looks very dim compared to the lights around her), but it works really well. Very pretty *_*

I really like this wall, but i'm just trippin, because the background looks exactly like he background on my desktop. Which is great! So I admire this work very much! Great job on it. ^_^

dude this is really pretty, but I think it would have been better if you moved the neon light in front of her onto the back of her. Other than that...this piece is Great...deserves like a B+ =D

for me the concept of urban meets traditional is kinda usual, what makes it different is how a waller pops it in a sheet, where taste n skill is deeply needed. i dunno whether u pick that title 'city light' from ur own or from tomoyuki tanaka aka fantastic plastic machine's song (i'm a fan for his music too), but the 1st time i c this wall... it does reminds me of the song, like it becomes a soundtrack for this wall indeed.

Is it Junko or am I wrong ? Whatever ... It reminds me of a well-known wall of Get Backers I saw on many sites, so I just can enjoy it. The contrast of the girl in these clothes with a background of the city's night is quiet original. Well found, so good job. ^^

I love the impression it leaves, but it seems a bit random for something Nana themed. I mean, it doesn't have anything to do with the show theme, so the person in the pic doesn't really matter.

City lights and the traditional kimono have a wonderful contrasting effect. The red at the bottom might be a bit too intense for the whole image because it detracts a bit from the figure - but.. this could be deliberate, giving rise to ideas of loneliness, distance and being lost.

NANA is a fantastic series and this wallpaper is a great addition to my collection :D
