L and KIra are soo handsome,... but I prefer L...heheheh ^__^ back to the comment... your right about the text, esp. the "ath" in the word death.. when I saw it in the mianpage lately, I cannot recognize it that much until I view your wallie (right now)... That's all I think... the background is great, even its quite attractive, the main characters are still emphasize.. so good job!

It's just so obvious that it's a stock. If it weren't for that, it would be great.

HAHA I remember this! Did you really change anything except add the text? XD This looks so oldschool, I love it. Those buildings right behind Light and L still appear kind of tacked on since the layer mask is very apparent. I would have used a splatter brush on the mask to give it a more solid feel.

I love the bold and colorful BG and their centeredness! The scan's been used a couple times already, but I think this wallpaper looks fresh! I think for the night-time city look, I would like a shiny look, but other than that, I like this very much! Favie~!

This scan is great, I've seen it a few times and it looks good in almost every background (XD)

Well the background is obvious that it's a stock, but you did modified it a bit, making it kinda blurry and adding those light effects, also the fading buildings behind them look good, it's not something very amazing but it is a nice wall, good job and keep it up.

I am the same way, people say the things I draw are sooo, good, but when i look at them, It just never looks "cool" enough. I would love to be able to completly make my own wallpapers, but I can't design nice backrounds. This is wall is increadible! I don't think there is anything that "sucks."

I must say, it certainly has been a while since I've viewed one your latest submissions. As always, the use, construction or remake of your background art is fairly inspiring to behold. Your choice of utilizing Light and L for a Death Note feature is well selected.

I think my appreciation lays most in the over-all message the art gives its audience. It's a message of relevance that only a 'Death Note' reader might personally understand and that relates to the vastness of city life. There are millions of people throughout Japan with billions of motives for wanting evildoers put to final rest. L has a job in front of him that could either make or break his career and him as a person. While Light...well...he sort of speaks for himself doesn't he?

The capture of this piece in short is its city-metropolis value and the excellence in the prime art's extraction. Well done. And lastly, if you placed the text in that position because you felt it was right at the time, then chances are there's no better place for it to be. I'm happy to second this notion and give this work 3 1/2 Stars out of 5. Well done, High Knees! ^__^

i really like this one, i generally love seeing backgrounds with cities in the back, it just creates a certain feel i like. seeing light and l together is also a plus
