When I first so this image I fell in love with it. You could say I was captivated. I guess I'm a sucker for fairytale like images. There was something so ethereal about it. And when I decided I wanted to wall it I wanted to preserve that. SO my first problem was how to preserve the fairytale like essence that could still be felt when it became a wallpaper. Gosh! It felt like if I wasn't able to make it into a decent wall, I'd probably be desecrating it or something. (Calls out to the Wallpaper gods "HELP ME") Help me to be worthy of walling this image =)
took 4 days to construct this wallpaper. I guess the hardest part was blending and the arrangement and assortment of flowers. I arranged them one by one. It took plenty of time to blend the colors and the scans to make it look this old.

The effect is very good, but personally i don't like the folded paper effect even if it's what makes this wallpaper so original (just a personal opinion, probably others would love it)

I like the background and the colouring,it's really good,the character is pretty interesting too but among all these things I must agree with santoic I don't think the fonded paper effect is really good altough you wanted to give it a touch of originality,maybe it would be better to try a sort of picture frame with gothic details or something,sorry I am not really good to explain!

I think the background looks beautiful, but I don't really like the folded paper effect. I feel like I'm looking at a really old scan, so the folding does a good job of convincing me of the whole old picture look, whether I like it or not.

First of all, I don't have anything to complain about the folded effect xD What I don't really like is the text of the word "Castlevania" a little too plain to me. A more gothic font might suit it better... and the word "Captivated" would look a little better if it's a little lower (not touching the above text). *Just a personal opinion as I work a little on graphics too (usually signatures or banners) so I'm picky about the font and text placement* ^^; Oh yeah I like the folded effect cause it's like an old picture of the 16th/17th century bring found centuries after lol ^_^ So it's really cool. I'm utterly impressed at the blending of the character and flowers in together with the background of the castle. Anyways, this wall is the first one that made my type so much in months x.x; kudos to you for that haha.

I think you've done a wonderful job with this wallpaper and it's beautiful! I think the creases give it a very interesting look and fit in perfectly with the feel of the wall. The flowers are what make me really love this wall overall. I love the way you arranged them and they're very pretty. The only thing I think that would make this wall even better is if you ditched the text. I think it takes away from the atmosphere of the wall and sticks out like a sore thumb. Everything else is amazing though, great job.

the wallpaper is fantastic! i love the old worn feel--it goes so well since it is Castelvania and the meadow of flowers with the dark and gloomy castle in the backdrop match Maria perfectly! i like the folded edges and the closeness of the fonts [gives it a constricted look in the freeing field of flowers]

It's so cool *-*. The perfect wallpaper for to show a fairytale! I love your creation because that "mist" remember me many memories, but especially liked the mystery in the air and the effect of old page. And those colors are really good. Good work, the wall is fantastic ^_^.
