I admit, maybe I was depress before making this wall (but nobody cares so I'll go on), but I found this picture on MT (here) and I fall more and more depress making the wall. =____= As the picture itself is the kind of sad, I tried to recreate in a more or less successful manner the atmosphere of the scan. The most difficult part was the polaroid, I used parts of the original wallpaper to stay in the main tones/colors but photoshop keep freezing so I had to re-made at least three or four time (you traitor!) Textures from stockxnchg and devianart, brushes from here
I hope you guys will post some comments on it. ^^
See ya

Personally? I like it. Character extraction was done well, and the background fits everything. The girl blends very well, and the color theme is fits. Only thing I have though, the pictures that are next to her is blurred up a bit and is very hard to see. Maybe you meant it to go that way, but that is just my opinion. Overall, your wallpaper is beautifully done. I hope to see more from you.

I think you did an excellent job on this wallpaper! The colors set the tone so well for the picture and makes me go "*Wibble* ;__;"
Because it is in Emo-Town. *Thumbs up*

I think it looks awesome, and it's tone and everything works perfect for that series. It's basicly an emo series itself lol Anyway it looks great *favs*

This is really awesome. I like the burnt crimson look about this. Everything suits each other and blends well, great composition on this as well. Nicely done. :)

Really nice wallpaper. This caught my eye because it has a very strong dramatic feel. I also like the color tone and lighting. The scattered pictures around her just emphasizes the melancholy and drama that surrounds the character. You could add text in the lower right side. Seems a little bit empty there but none the less I absolutely adore you wallpaper.

Adieu is very interesting. I think Gilgamesh was so weird. I don´t know, but ... I like this work. :)

Very interesting. You've used a very warm palette of colours but it feels very lonely, perhaps even angry. The image is quite powerful, quite fierce. I like the texture created by the rough strokes on the tiles, they help to soften the bold lines on the girl too. Great touch with the polaroids as well, they add extra interest I think.

Mentally, she looks pretty fuct up. [sexual frustration is a bitch] Your post work nicely lends to the mood of the scan, making the wallpaper easy to read.

I like the darkness of this paper. You may have been depressed but it worked for you. I guess thats what art is about.. show our true feelings :]
But anyway I love the fresco-esque look of the paper. And I love the colors. Bravo <3

i enjoy this wallpaper very much. i'm sorry to hear you were down while making it, but the beautifully tragic feeling you captured must have cheered you up, i'm sure! great use of rich, bold colors to communicate the mood.
