Death Note Death of Light and Darkness

The one thing that sticks out to me is the Death Note sentence: it should be centered like everything else, so it should be moved to the right a little bit. The "the" touches L's back, while the "die" has a considerable amount of room before it touches Light's back.

The human whose name is written on this note shall die. xD so cool!!!

nice contrast between black and white! i never saw this anime but people say it´s very good. about your project i´ll only reconsider the place and the size you put the signature. i prefer the ones that stands behind the windows start button and, consequently, don´t mess the picture on the background. congratulations and thanks for sharing!

Nice concept, and good vectoring, but there are some edges that looks kinda funny to me, for example, the top of light's head, that curve in there look kinda jagged, other than that everything looks great, nice job, keep it up.

If the whole wallpaper brighter will be nicer...it look abit dark...n make it look bore....

I'm liking this background because it can be perceived either way, since there's black and white on both sides of the image. That's also the thing that I love about Death Note as a whole. Pretty much everyone that I know who has watched this anime is either an L supporter or a Kira supporter, so it's difficult to not be biased when discussing the anime or looking at a picture similar to this one. I myself am an L supporter, so I perceive L as a "good" character, therefore I see the white background on his side of the image, and Kira as "evil", therefore I see a black background on his side. I honestly don't think that made any sense, but great job anyways! I love the black and white, it keeps it simple and gets the message across efficiently (in a good way). Keep up the great work!

Ooh, that's a nice juxtaposition of L against Light. Though I have to wonder, why is everything color inverted through the middle except the line "the human who's name is written in this note shall die"? Wanted to keep that one consistent so it'd be more noticeable to the viewer?

The black/white contrast is excellent, one of the best death note wallpapers i've seen for sure. It's simple but says everything: the conflict between two opposite sides. And the Death Note phrase, "the human who... blah blah blah", finish this masterwork. Very nice job man, added as a favorite. =)

Nice death note wallpaper. Really like the blood spatter effects and the simple contrast of black and white. Also really like the contrast between L and Kira, the skull effect is also very cool and matches very well with this wallpaper's concept and theme. It's a shame though that you put that sentence under "Death Note"... It cancels the effect the simple contrast leaves. It would have been better if you have left it out... but still... Brilliant Wallpaper!!!

Good ideas in this wallpaper! Two opposites at the mirror, light and shadows not too complicated but clear, outlined very well! The images seem two card with their background...

Simple, yet effective. I really like the contrast effect there. It kind of helps you to see how Light and L are complete opposites. I really like the scan you used, too, by the way. What I think is really neat about your wallpaper is that you don't need the actual character images there in full color or anything. Just the contrasting silhouettes are necessary to convey the fact that the two figures are Light and L. The blood spatter effects are really cool too, and the sentence "The human whose name is written in this note shall die" kinda ties it all together. I like that font, too, even if it isn't exactly the same as the one used in the manga/anime. Where did you find it? I would love to type a school paper in that font...
