Gorgeous~ I like the colors of the original scan more, but the ancient-painting-concept works well too. Nice use of textures, though I think it looks more like a stone carving than a painting. Not that that's a bad thing, stone carvings are an interesting form of art. Anyway, good work on this :)

Beauty is the best word to describe this wall.

By changing the color, it gives an effect of an old draw.

I like it, it's a good job.

Well chosen scan as the base, well done extraction. Compared to vivid green of the original, this one has a smell of antiquity, like an old picture made on parchment. I must admit it has more charm [brownish bg with red elements] than the green scan [poking-eyes madness]. Also plus for extraction - you did a good job instead of just cutting the flowers on the edges of the wall.

As for minuses, only one thing comes to my mind. It's the left upper corner. You shouldn't leave it empty. It would look good if the light there was a bit stronger and with neat letters a phrase. Dunno what phase, but it would balance the wall perfectly.

I'm in love with the composition, the colours, the texture and the artwork. I hadn't heard of this artist beforehand, but after watching this wallpaper it makes me want to search up all of her existing artwork.

The ancient feeling you planned on giving to it make it look much softer and smoother so that it has some sort of "nature" feeling to it. It's like the roses were blooming from the environment. Nature and scanned image are as one.

All in all, a definite favourite.

A very feminine wallpaper. I love the color theme and the texture. The texture almost makes it seem like the wallpaper was printed on a stationery. Positioning of the character is excellent and the vines of leaves as her background definitely suites the wallpaper. It has a very soft and dainty feel to it. Great job.

I almost didn't want to fav this wallpaper after reading the description because ithought that you didn't do a lot with this wallpaper because the scan took over the whole thing. i hope it makes sense to you. I can't believe I never noticed this wallpaper. Very great detail. Great contrast between elements. And also...I'm a sucker for walls that look like they are painted. I just love that almost perfect look you get from realism in editing. Also, with the roses, which were the things that caught my eye, make the wallpaper just gleam with energy and makes this wallpaper, in whole to my eyes, a masterpiece of ultimate creativity. This is great! I keep wondering though, as I've seen a similar instance of this in a Wild Adapter scan, if that's supposed to be persimmon fruit or what? I feel like an idiot always wondering... First of all, I have to thank you for making a beautiful wallpaper that has a downloadable option for my resolution. I think yours is the first I've ever seen. Second, I think you managed to accomplish everything that you set out to do with this graphic. The texture blends perfectly with the image and the scan has so many details that I am quite impressed with your extraction skills. It really does look like the image was painted right onto the brown background of a canvas. Congratulations on a job well done.

This is an amazingly beautiful wall! I would really love to know the techniques you used. You talk about using the pen tool in your description for extraction, which is something I do too, but you don't really talk about the rest of what you did to achieve this. The wall really looks like an ancient painting/watercolor, which is something I've been trying to figure out how to do for a long time.
