Range Murata RM: Caught in the Thorns of Infatuation

well good job making it look darker and more mysterious. i think that the tattoo need some colour.

The "I <3 U" tattoo looks terrible. It's just distracting, I would take it out if I were you. D:

The tattoo could use some work... look up 'tattoo' on yahoo - you'll find some good images of new tattoos... I can tell you from my own exp. that the skin gets REALLY red, and the tattoo doesn't bleed that badly... it might a little bit, but you have more ink smear (dark patches on the skin where the artist wipes the newly imprinted tattoo with an alcohol swab) than blood around the tattoo...

Otherwise, I love it. :) You did a nice job putting out the emotion on this one - another suggestion though? add some shine on the tears, where the light is reflecting off of the water. ;-)

I'm gonna repeat what everyone says, the TATOO jobs isn't well done to match the skin tone and it's effect.

People don??t read descriptions do they? Anyway I have always loved this image so props for using XD It definitely caries a morbid overtone but I think it works well. Um for critiques the ??cut? in her arm I think might be a bit redder if it were blood and lastly it kind of feels like it could use a BG of some sort >.> Good luck with WAR and keep up the good work.

hrm...the tears and blood/tat bother me.

water doesn't stream unless under extreme gravity. just look at waterfalls, they are straight but kinda dot off cause water is polar (i think lol) and the molecules do some weird dance. waterfall tears are only in anime lol and RM style is too realistic to pull off the straight line you have.

it needs to be more streamy. to find out pour some water on your hand or face and watch it...

i use the color burn tech too, but first i draw out the blood dribble with the lasso tool. the lasso tool is your pal. but great general shape. try goo-tutorials and type in blood, there are great ones out there.

also, the red and black things don't fit for me...maybe put her under her lovers bed lol? cutting and stalking, i think that counts for infatuation.

Probably one of the more interesting walls I've seen for awhile. The idea for it is pretty unique and props to you for that. The cut looks fine, but if it were more of a reddish tone it'd probably look a bit more real. The tear might not be realistic but I think you've made one that looks great. Otherwise, this is pretty cool. Nice work.

Yeah, I'm personally not feeling the tears and tat to much either. It just doesn't blend in like it should, draws to much attention. Great concept and effort though, it's not THAT far off, just a bit more work.

Everyone already told you what you need to improve on. Anyway, this is a really nice interpretation of the theme. Just please improve what people have told you to work on, because the concept you have is good.

I know I already commented... but since you changed the disc, I guess I'm going to comment again. ^^;; As once said, I love the wall... it has an excellent theme, and what you've done with it is great... but if that's blood... blood doesn't flow uniformly, especially if it's in different rivuletts. O_o;; make it seem more random where the blood is, and possibly have a droplett or two falling to the ground. More red would be coolies, but isn't necessary. ^_^ Good job!

The tear is a good idea but I don't like the tatoo. Just like it is fading away.

As the person who submitted the scan... you have done an absolutely awesome job in giving the scan a whole new look and feel to it. Your wall really draws out that feeling of heart break. Really good contrast too. I do have to acknowledge that getting the right effect for tears is hards. Liquid effects are one of those hard things to do but the effects still comes of good.

I like it, you did a great job making it look dark and making the background black. i do agree that the tears need some work, and the tattoo is kind of weird looking. i like the overall wallpaper though^_^

I think you came up with a great idea for this wall. I love the idea of the tatoo and the tear. Make the changes that people have suggested and you wall will be a 10. Great job!

awww, that is like sooo pretty, i love the whole I <3 u theme.... crying too...

I really like the idea presented here and everything looks good to me ... except for the same items the others have previously mentioned (the tattoo and the tears). I really like the concept and hope you continue to work out the details. Those "cuts" are really tough to pull off convincingly. Keeping them from being flat might help and doing the smears/drips manually helps (I'm still working on that myself so perhaps other's have some good techniques). Annex's comments about the tears are really good suggestions. Keep it up though! Great work!

Very interesting wallpaper, the pose and expression is very nice. And the dark surrounding background is a good idea to bring out the main focus

I love Range Murata scans, so I'll add this to my faves! Why does most of the Range Murata walls I've seen is titled Infatuation or the like? XD

I don't think you need to improve a bit on the "tatoo" especially since it isn't really a tatoo. More like something she cut into her arm. I think it fits perfectly with the feel of the wallpaper. Very good job! Gonna add it to the faves!

If I've ever found a wall that matches my thoughts and feelings, this is it.

It's one of my favourites, the love pull down her, she is in the floor and the tatoo means that things so strong like a young couple love can be deleted, You think a real tatoo is imposible to delete and also a real love, but the problem is when only one of two persons think about it, the other person split up the relationship and in that moment she break her break, she lose her tatto by the teardrops, she is dirty and she feel no strong and never can forget that love.... maybe the tatoo disappear in her skin but no inside her, in the heart!!!!

Great concept I know this is an old wall but whatever. I love the tattoo - so awesomely sad. I think the tears are a bit off - the run pattern doesn't look natural or seem to flow down the face right. I think the tattoo really makes it your own concept separate from Robot. For some reason, I love it enough to fav this wall. Nice work.
