The stock looks nice and clean, and you've blended in the scan with it rather well. I like the tones of colors here, and nice textures too. Overall, it's a good wallpaper for your first submission. ;D

VERY NICE. A pretty serious expression on Ichigo's face, especially for him not have his Shinigami gear on. The background looks fantastic and seems original enough to me. Even if the color of the background is all one shade I still really like it. This wallpaper seems to present a fresh feeling of Bleach art. Keep of the good ideas.

the background feets perfectly with the image, you really did a nice job giving that "sunset" color both to the bg and the scan. the idea of putting ichigo in that scenario is really creative. he really does have that bad boy expression in the scan lol. its such a cool scan, no wonder everybody has been using it

very nice. ichigo seems to fit right in with the background. it was a very nice choice of background for him, and he doesnt look out of place at all. his hair the right shade for the background too :D and i like the way the light seems to be striking him, the shadowing is superb.

This is a pretty good, if not for a first wall then at least for a first submission--it takes some courage to post. I wish it wasn't just in widescreen resolutions, however. This is continually frustrating me with my "ghetto" monitor. Heh. I love all the junk piled up on the right, it's fantastic and honestly the wall's best asset. Keep posting!

Looks like I'm the only one urked by this, but it's basically just a scan, slapped over a stock with numerous blending modes and textures applied. kudos for actually getting the right lighting in the stock for the scan and vise versa, but I'm just not impressed. It seems to me you know how to use photoshop, so I'd personally like to see more. Maybe create a background fully from scratch. I just don't see why it's in the top 3. I'm not one for super realism being hidden by things like textures and having stock slapped over it. I mean, you can even see real people in the background.
Yeah, I'm critical. Yeah, I'm pretty mean sometimes. But I'm only ever that way when I truly feel that someone has potential. So please, let me see something more.

Wow, that's really cool! It's easy to tell that Ichigo and the background are from completely different art styles and settings, but other than that, they fit really well together. That backdrop just looks like the kind of bizarre place Ichigo might hang out at. I like the faded, sepia effect on the background, too.

And normally I'd complain that Ichigo looks a little too shaded, but it actually feels like just the right amount of shading here without going overboard. Good work.

True to your word, this a great "ghetto ichigo"! I think this wallpaper would be a lot better if Ichigo didn't contrast too much with the background. To clarify what I mean, Ichigo should have the same "shaded" affect as his surroundings. The ghettos look like they are from a faded photograph while Ichigo is distinctly clear as if he jumped out of an anime episode. Otherwise, this wallpaper is pretty nice! I like the vibe it gives off - "don't mess with Ichigo!" What is "lasy x" supposed to mean? Anyway, good job!

This picture of Ichigo looks great with this background. Don't think I've seen this image with street clothes before, usually it's just the shinigami uniform. Great job.

Ichigo looks like he just belongs there. I really like the fact that there is still a difference between him and the background in terms of the texture and the finish of paper. The lighting combi is beautiful as well. It really looks like something that the animators would probably do the opening sequence for the anime!!!
