It is a nice picture. The pink is light. It really goes with the image. I wish i can do something like that in my first wallpaper.

I think the bkg is too dark so it makes the wal a bit hectic overall, but it's very pretty! Nice design and nice job w/the text

the colours are great too, and you have picked a lovely scan :)

however, the background image is maybe too strong? and is confusing, and takes focus away? but the layers is very nice~ and love the way you encorporated the scan with the writing ^^

First wallpaer? I think it is perfectly good. The respectable favourite count ought to have convinced you that.

I am sure that the pink bars could have been done differently, but that they don't stand out more is a different but still pleasing kind of effect.

The best bit for me though is how you can still se the texture of the paper or canvas on which the original must have been printed. It adds a very artistic touch to the overwhelmingly vectored-to-death cyperspace artistic community these days.
