whaaa i love the scan ^^ and how you colorize it,

the background is nice too but feel quite empty but it's a good work ^^ i like it !

nice job, like the asian-sun-burst in the background and vector is of good quality. some minor point outs i noticed: the first left white square has a bit strange contact line with the red appears a small bit jagged. Furthermore the lines in the white are good only somehow on the thum they look strange 0.o :P and when vectorring scans be sure to make the bg fit as nice as possible, like in this way the scan is a bit less hard-lined vectord then the background. and most point out is that the shirt and the arm blend over. maybe used a aura ore a surrounding colour around the arm to make it not look molten to his shirt. all with all good vector job, keep it up ^Beckor

I like the general design..but I think without the weird texture/lines in the white this would be a lot better.

Very nice vectoring - especially if its your first. One thing though, try and make the background more vibrant. Its a little boring at the moment XD! Still, Chad looks really nice and so does the smoke. Great work, keep it up.

thanks guys, I know the right side is sorta plain, but I tend to do that, cause I actually use all my walls on my desk, and I use a mac, SoI like to have the right side simple for icons once in a while. I bet on a PC having all your icons on chad makes the right side look VERY boring huh?..lol

Oooh, that's a nice layout. Really nice blending of the red in the background with the red in Chad's arm. That's pretty cool looking.

One question - why the Japanese "rising sun" image? Since it's Chad, why not some kind of Mexican symbol? Did this type of background go better with what you had in mind?

Hmmm, the sun outburst and Chad suit each other. You placed the sun in quite a strategic place. The steam coming from his hand/arm has a nice effect. It looks clear and sharp =) Especially since you mentioned it's your first vector, you did very well on it! Thanks so much for sharing.
