I got the image online and trimmed it down, the bg is an extraction from Ultra Fractal 3 using a slope newton formula outside colored with spiral traps
when i saw the scan though i got a flash of the old style bond openings....but a bit different
and yes i don't have very creative titles

Man that is a wicked style. I can see where you'd get that "Bond" style in your head. I like this, but I think it could have used more white space, just my opinion though.

yeah i dunno i had a prelim mockup with a brighter bg:1024x768
but i felt like the bg was fighting with the scan (the mockup is from before i grayscaled everything too) and decided to tone it down more
no way my bg was going to outdo the eye-catching yumminess of Kazuya Minekura's drawing

O.o I like it alot, the spiral effect is really good, it's quite unique too! hmm i think i prefer the brighter one, but this is really good too^_^

Black and white! nice nice. Not really my type of wallie.. i prefer coloured ones. But i gopt to admit that you did a really nice job! Looks pretty simple though.. hehe.. I like the scan, it bplends in really nicely with the bg.

I like the black and white style but not the character... The wall seeems to be weird to me... Not my type... Anyway it is a well-done wall... Keep up!

I love the relationship between the two, it almost explains how Kubota has a gun instead of Tokito. Nice spiral effect, also.

Well. I think I like it. Characters are well-extracted and their brightness nicely contrasts wit the background. They seem highlighted, that's what I mean. I have reservations on the background though. You should have worked more on it, like, adding some other effects. But that's just my impression. Keep up the good work!
