Samurai Champloo Dual

Oh, I like this idea, of half Jin's face superposed with half of Mugen's. It would have been great if you could have maybe modded Mugen's lips closed to match Jin's but that's a minor point. Very nice indeed, nice to see you're walling again NicholasBlack ^^

IT'S SO COOL!!!! I love the color!! And the scans as well! But I also think that you should have put together Jin and Mugen's lip. So that it would look a little better. I love the brush effects you put on it! I just really like it! I'm adding to my fav's!!

C&C: I think the wall is quite nice. However, I have to join dhias and Hyper-Bunny in noting that the large scan of Mugen gives him lips that aren't really in character with the general style portrayed in Champloo anime. Of course, we can't really blame you for the scan--other parts of it work very well, like how Mugen syncs with Jin's face-positioning.

Nice taste in toning down the redness of the far-right Mugen to blend it with the rest of the wall. The "patchwork" effect of that section blends VERY nicely into the closeup Mugen. But you might have wanted to try a bit of diffusion in the far-left in order to better blend Jin's scabbard, "pants", and his too-bright-and-"stark" aura into the darker closeup of his face.

I hate the show, but this is a sweet wallpaper. Great job.

Liking it alot. As has been said a few times it's in keeping with the style of the anime (of which I'm just about to watch episode 20).

Would have been nice if you'd have kept the "????" at the bottom. Now it just says SAMU.

this wallpaper looks awesome. it really has great style and fits the dark ambience of the series. i love how the two faces are combined. it looks great and perfectly balanced. there is much less of mugen but i don't think that hurts the wallpaper at all. the contrasting colors are great too. really impacts that they are two different people, when you only use two distinctly different shades. the only thing i kinda don't like is the large dots on the smaller characters of mugen and jin. it does give it a very griddy effect that goes nicely with the paper though. good job. keep it up!

I know I'm a little late in commenting, but I really just can't help but type out my thoughts. This is one of the most creative wallpapers I've ever seen until now. The way Mugen's and Jin's faces combine so perfectly together is just......so clever and cool! I guess many people already like to relate Jin with blue and Mugen with red, but I'm not complaining cuz the color combination for the blue and red in the wall is very nice....not loud and clashing. I just simply love the style with which those 2 faces combine. This is gonna be one of my favs! =)

coolness. the concept is great, although i find the wall alittle bit too crowded for my taste... like it lacks a clearer focus. and is it just me or is the jin side of it a little bit bigger then the mugen one? i think it would be better to have the two halves more or less equal, or if you want to do assymetry, make sure the assymetry is proportional... so as not offset the balance of elements. great job with the image manipulation though!

I don't know if this was your doing, but I'm amazed that the faces actually line up without looking dumb. Contrast, placement, style, it's fantastic!

Very well designed. The effect of the diffent textures work together like cutouts of different sources and come together very successfully to create one uniform image. It has a chaotic feel to it along with a smooth unity of the different elements. The colors also work very well with Mugen and the entire theme of the wallpaper. I would have to give this wallpaper two thumbs way up. I can't pick anything out that would cue a suggestion, so that would definetly be a good thing. Keep at the wallpapers! You've got a talent for them judging by this one.

I like the Ying Yang effect by using red and blue/ keeping them on opposite sides of the wall. Textures are nice too.

Wow this wall is so AMAZING! I really love the "Face Off" type deal you have going on in the middle, it's a great mesh of Jin and Mugen. Also just love how it's got a "rough" vibe with the ripped edges and the ink splattering.
