This is sweet nice color choices and lighting The only thing I feel missing is a background of some sort valkyrie profile was an interesting choice (I've only played Lenneth, but I still think its great) as for the crown I can't notice it easily sorry :o

I love this game! You captured its essence quite well in this wallpaper and I adore it. The blues in the crystal look so gooood and I love how serene the whole wall is! I love it so much! You did the game justice for sure, it looks like really just came out of it!

First off, the shininess looks fine in my opinion. I wouldn't expect anything less from a crystal of any sort ;). I don't really see the crown btw, although I do see some sort of object over her head...

I do feel that there are some problems with the shininess, though. Namely, the background. It has good contrast to the shininess, so it definitely doesn't detract from the main object. However, it doesn't add anything in my opinion, either. In fact, it makes the crystal look out of place compared to the background.

The parallel effects over the crystal are fine, but I think it could've been more interesting if you thought of a way to make them different and more random (I like random). It feels like they're simply placed there and note blended too well.

Lastly, I also agree (with someone above) that the title doesn't look too good at that position. I think that putting it on the background would be fine, especially because it'd make the background look less bleak.

But that's just me. I can definitely see why you'd become intrigued after see the girl. Crystals and such are just beautiful!

It's Nice Wallppaer. Concept over the Whole is Simple but Details are Very Complex. Single Tone Colors in the Wallpaper are Simple and a Little Heavy. The Crystal(?) Covering or Confinig the Heroine with Cold and Sharp Effects is Really Really Impressive. However They Do not Express Doomed Feelings and Atmosphere. Details of Shining Lines are Very Thin and Delicate. They are More Bright than Their Own Size. Thanks for Your Good Work.

i like it very much... the sensation it's a real trapped on the crystal.. the blue tone on the entire wallp. create a perfect atmosphere. the only negatve thing i find.. is the text.. don't like me the place where u put it.

It's a good start. The background doesn't contrast with the original image too much, aside from one aspect that really caught my eye: the base of the crystal. That dark black area with the outer glow around it doesn't fit with the rest of the composition, and it makes the foreground look floaty. This compromises the integration of the two elements.

I'd also have to agree with the text placement comments mentioned above. This wallpaper does not need any text to help convey the mood. I didn't even notice it at first, but after it caught my eye it started to stand out. I'd personally just remove the text all together.

I loved playing Valkyrie Profile 2 and I grew attached to the characters Silmeria and Alicia. I love how the dark background contrasts with the bright crystal prison Silmeria is trapped in. Absolutely gorgeous. :)

Its been a while since I've seen Silmeria Valkyrie. This is pretty good. Brahms must be pretty lucky having a beautiful and powerful Valkyrie in his captivity. This wall itself is beautiful. Even though Hrist is my favorite outta the three this Silmeria one is cool. It would be nice to see a Hrist wall this good. Anyway awesome job.

You got my comment AND a ++faves for this one! Valkyrie Profile... It brings back a lot of good GAMING memories. 8D

Ich habe mir Prototype gestern aus der Videothek zum testen ausgeliehen und schon das ganze Wochenende gespielt. Ein Glück. So ein Schrott kommt mir nicht ins Haus.

Erstmal die Vorteile: + Offene Spielwelt + Überall versteckte Dinge zum entdecken + Überall zusätzliche Bonusaufgaben + Spannend inszenierte Handlung/Zwischensequenzen Mehr fällt mir nun wirklich nicht ein...

Nachteile: - Es wird nicht jedes Gamepad unterstützt (Die zwei die ich habe zumindest nicht, Street Fighter 4 hatte da keine Probleme)

• Schlechte Grafik. Ich spiele auf 1600x1200 mit max. Details und alles hochgedreht was nur geht aber trotzdem kann das Spiel mit aktuellen Titeln ÜBERHAUPT NICHT mithalten. Gut so viel kann man eh nicht einstellen... Auflösung, AA, Schatten und Grafik Details. Mehr geht nicht. Ist halt eine typische PS3/XBox umsetzungen. Deshalb verstehe ich die Leute nicht die sagen die Grafik sei klasse. Auf der PS3/Xbox vielleicht...

• Schwammige Steuerung. Da meine beiden Gamepads nicht unterstützt werden muss ich halt mit Maus und Tastatur spielen. Mitten im Kampf ist die Steuerung sehr ungenau da die Maussteuerung sehr schwammig ist. Und wenn man einmal eine "Combo" begonnen hat kann man diese nicht mehr unterbrechen. Es sei denn ein "Super-Mutant" trifft einen von der Seite.

• Schlechtes Kampfsystem. Mitten im Kampf macht man eigentlich immer nur das gleiche. Linke Maustaste, Linke Maustaste, linke Maustaste ab und zu mal die rechte Maustaste für eine "Combo" und dann wieder linke Maustaste. Springen kann man vergessen da man meistens eh 50m zu weit springt. Man kann aber auch Gegenstände aufnehmen und werfen. Was sich aber nur bei Hubschraubern lohnt...

• Geringe Gegnervielfalt. Hauptsächlich kämpft man nur gegen Soldaten. Diese sehen, wer hätte es gedacht, alle identisch aus. Dann gibts noch Hubschrauber und Panzer die einen die ganze Zeit nur nerven. Ab und zu sieht man dann auch mal so "Super Mutanten". Das spiel erinnert an stellen stark an Medal of Honor world at war. Es wirft einem nämlich immer neue Gegner entgegen. Killt man einen, kommen drei neue nach.

• Ständige wiederholung. In diesem Spiel macht man eigentlich immer nur das gleiche. Von A nach B rennen. Dort Gegner umhauen. XP in Upgrades umtauschen und dann wieder von vorne. Abwechslung bieten zwar die Bonus Missionen, aber selbst die wiederholen sich ständig.

Den Punkt brutalität setz ich mal auf neutral. Wer darauf steht der kommt beim Prototype voll auf seine Kosten. Man kann alles und jeden abmezeln (sehr blutig). Aber irgendwann wird selbst das auf dauer langweilig.

Fazit: Wer ein Spiel sucht, wo man nicht groß nachdenken muss, viel Blut sehen will, immer das gleiche machen möchte, auf schlechte Grafik und eine schlechte Stuerung steht, der kann bei Prototype gerne zugreifen.

Alternativ würde ich euch raten, kauft euch eine Xbox oder eine PS3 und dazu das Spiel. Auf der Konsole wird es hoffentlich besser sein als auf dem PC.
