A bit of an older wall, but still a goodie!
More of a cut and dry one, but it's goodness lies in its simplicity. The background effect was from a combination of brush sets that I messed around with for a while to get this rather interesting looking graffiti look in the end. I think it fits in perfectly with the Champloo universe, as well as Fuu's pose, but I'll leave that for the rest of you to decide.
This is a bit of a turn away from my usual dark and grungy walls. I'm happy with the way this one turned out, but if someone has a suggestion to improve it, feel free to post it!

(With the comments that I've recieved on this wall, I'll likely take it down in the future and fix those jagged edges on the graffiti background. It'll just take a while with the technique I normally use ((tiny, tiny smudgin' :P)) and I'm neck deep in finals stuff, so just look for it in the future!)

Interesting use of symmetry to compliment the character. I think the composition is generally nice and the colour use is pretty good.
For my taste she's a little heavily overlay blurred or whatever you want to call the effect. A sharper look might have helped her and the background come together a little more. That's more a perfect preference thing, though.
My only actual crit would be that some of the vector shapes in the bg seem a little aliased (that is, they have jagged edges to them). Smoothing those may again help the chara and bg seem more 'as one'. Not, that is, that they seem particularly un-co-ordinated, just it's a liitle tiny bit of a mismatch of styles.

Fuu in red looks nice :) That said, there is a teeny teeny bit of jagginess in some of the background shapes, but overall I love it, great work! +fav

It's Nice Wallpaper. Red Colors in This Wallpaper is Well-Match for the Heroine's Cute Face and Pose. Her White Skins with Bright Colors Stands out in the Red Background and Express Her Confidence. White Lines in the Background and Her Pose of Fingers are Really Really Interesting and Comic. It Looks Like She is Shooting Thunders Like Game Characters with Her Fingers to arround.
