First off, anyone that calls this a piece of crap can't recognize true talent when they see it. By the thumbnail alone, you can only begin to see how gorgeous this work of art truly is. Immense detail was paid to the grass and the shadowing. Normally, I haven't been too fond of walls with grass, mostly because it's so difficult to pull off well. Though this, this is something different. Especially with the perspective that you went with too, there is so much grass too and it all looks great. As i said, I really love the shadowing, as well as the lighting. Perfectly done that anyone can tell that she's rather close to the tree that she's under, while her right arm and leg are a bit further, exposed by the light <3. To you, this may not be anything special. To someone like me, however, I absolutely adore it. Probably one of the finest outdoor walls I've ever seen. I cannot say I can find a single thing about this wall I would ever dislike. Definitely going straight to my desktop and staying there for awhile. Thank you for not only finishing this, but sharing it too :__:.

well, it's abeautiful work, you have a big talent, I have problems to use edition programs, I only draw and scan, but I'm not really a creative person. your wallpp reflect peace, calm, it's pretty, i adore it. (XD)

Very different type of wall - somehow she works with the realistic grass. You incorporated the scan well into the grass. It is a nice scan, very peaceful looking.

though the girl's tone doesn't quite match with the grass (maybe she's too bright/ grass too dark)

I'm not surprised how beautiful this is. You made the grass looking so real and soft, detailed... The branch shadows are perfect, as well as the color theme and the books spread around.

You might look down on your own work, be it out of pure humility or sincere distaste, I think you are too hard on yourself. It's very nice work! I love the scan you used, and I especially love the job you did with the tree and the shadows. The entire wall works well together and it feels complete while at the same time achieving a uniqueness that expresses itself nicely. Great job and don't be so derogatory of your own work, be proud of it. Congrats on a good wall. *faves*

Grass has always been one of those really simple looking but really hard to pull of effects for me, and I can tell you worked really hard on the grass on this wall. The whole wall might look really simple, but I can tell you put a lot of effort into it, I really like the whole look and feel of this one. Great job.

me thinks ur being harsh on this lovely wall ;3 i like the simplicity of this, and how everything in this wall looks so..**i dunno how to word this** but, dry.. xD and and the grass O_O i swear, i was looking at the grass for so long before commenting .__. at first i was like, maybe its stock photo.. but then i thought that grass isnt real looking enough to be from stock.. anywho, it fits well with the scan ><'' and nice use of textures. the only major thing for me is that the grass overlapping the character looks a little weird >_>i think maybe if the grass going on top of her was darker it would be better. and yess this is very much so fav worthy ;D

I agree with metalmallow, I think the problem its hard to tell if the branches are foreground shapes or shadows. Other than that is great, I really like the grass texture you used. The bit of grass overlapping near her chest looks a bit brushed on, but that's being picky. So peaceful, I wish this was widescreen! ;)

Grass looks too real, too sharp. Did you make the grass? Love the branches. Some are shadows, some are branches that look like they're in front of you like you're looking through from a tree.

I find this piece very pleasing despite its simplicity. I love that. Reminds me when I was very sleepy one summer day last summer and I decided to go to a park and take a nap right under a nice tree (seriously). Fell asleep right there in the warm air in the prickly grass for about an hour and half. Was very pleasant. Thanks for sharing and evoking a pleasant memory of mine.

I'm a little iffy on either the extraction, or maybe the original scan itself--I'd have to look at it to know for certain--on the lower part of her right leg (outside). It seems kind of rough right there and even a little bit on the other side (same area, same leg). The rest of the extraction is so nicely done that this stands out for me. It may have just been an issue with Murata's original work.

The best components of this wall, for me, is where the grass is intermixed with her hair. The detail there is really fabulous. The shadow of the trees overhead is very pretty.

This is a good wallpaper in that it doesn't detract from an already wonderful image.

if someone said this is a piece of crap, i would hunt them down for you , dont worry the grass is totally insane, i love love love everything in this wall ><

This wall is one of the most impressive walls I've seen since some time. It says so much by looking at it. Such a calm scenery with a beautiful artwork. I like the idea with the grass and you've made a wonderful job on it. The different textures you've used are working perfect.

The books laying around on the grass are a nice detail and wonderful chosen. The thing I like the most are the branches of trees above her. Nice idea adding them. The shadow of the trees on her are awesome and it looks like a photo taken of her from that tree. Very impressive work.

It's Nice Wallpaper. The Heroine's Pose and Face are Loose and Slack. I Think It Express Her Heart.. Her Dark Brown Dress and Green Field are Harmonized with Each Other Like Green Leaves and Brown Tree. Shadowes of Branches over Her and Field are Really Really Wonderful. They Stand out in Bright Colors in the Background. They Maybe Scars in Her Heart? Thanks for Your Good Work.

Well, it is indeed relaxing,... but I think it's more of a 'sleepy' wallpaper than relaxing... ahaha.. Looking at the girl makes me want to sleep, too :P

Anyways... I always loved Range Murata's artworks.. and the textures, tree shadows fused into the picture makes an already beautiful piece even more attractive.. Great work.

The best grass ever :). The girl's pose looks a bit uncomfortable, if the right knee is above ground... or maybe not, depends how the ground is shaped. She's beautiful anyway :).

I think it looks great even though you said it has nothing special in it. I love the background of this wallpaper. It looks so peaceful as the girl s napping on the grass and just relaxing there with nothing to care about. Really cool concept!
