Your first wall? Well, let me say this. I applaud you efforts. It's a nice first wall. I like your choice of background, as it is fitting to the characters present. The character vectors look nice, but they don't look like they are blending in with the background setting that well. While it's good for the characters to stand out from the background, it can be taken too far to the point that they have a disjoint look. And example of this is Yuuichi standing in the golden field. The field is blended nicely, by itself, but it just doesn't blend well with Yuuichi. On the other hand, the lighting effect in the foreground are really good. I do feel that the light should also reach into the background to illuminate Mai, as well. As she is now, it looks like she's just part of the background. Overall, I still think it's a nice first wall. A lot of the things I mentioned are just my interpretations, which are only there to give you ideas on you could make this wall even better. I just wanted to put that out there so you wouldn't think I was just nitpicking at your work. Hope to see your next wallpaper. Take care.

i agree with the first comment that the characters don't blend in with the background but seeing that it is your first wallpaper i guess it should be a learning experience for you anyway good effort

I like it. It's nicely inspired directly from the series. The sky is very nice as well. One thing that I don't like is the title, either remove it or make it orange or yellow because the color you chose really doesn't match with the rest of the colors used in the wallpaper.

It's Nice Wallpaper. Orange Colors with Soft Effects Express Atmosphere of Sunset. Their Feelings of Nostalgia is Really Really Impressive. Two Starrings' Sorrow and Sad Eyesight Watching Far Far Away are Well-Match for the Background. Various Pose of Birds and Arts of Letters of the Background are Splendid and Delicate. The concept is good, it's just that the clean characters don't blend too well with the blurred background. So it looked a bit weird or fake. Still a great effort though : )

I like the theme of your wall paper. Very nice & cool. The dim sun light of evening looks very nice. The background is very nice & great as well. I like the grass the most. All together the whole wall is very soothing. It gives the perfect picture of evening. Great work. Keep it up! My favorite!

The wallpaper in its entirety is really great. It really reflects the title too. (Or is it the other way around? orz) The lighting and background is just WOW. Especially since this is your first wall. But the background is waaaaaaaaay too blurred. Maybe it would be better if you made the person in front bigger and the person at the back smaller? And they stand out too much thanks to the blurred grass.

As stated above, I applaud you for a very well piece for your first wallpaper. :3 I'll get the criticism out first so I can end with compliments. As stated above, the blur of the field and the sharpness of the characters do not mix well. It probably wouldn't have been as bad if only the front was sharpened and the back was blurred. What also would've helped is a -slight- blur of the characters (personal opinion) to create a more dreamy/sunset feel. Also, the font doesn't fit well. It's too different and the colors also clash with the overall color scheme. And the girl looks very out of place from where she's standing.

There's a lot to compliment on the flip side! First, the sharpness of the characters. Very nice and clean. The overall color scheme in the wallpaper is nice too. The background is beautiful too! Although the font color doesn't work, where it's placed does. And although the girl is out of place, it's good you at least paid attention to the detail that she'd look smaller since she's farther away.
